When Jesus heals/restored the ear of the centurion, was this healing by faith? If so, whose faith? If not, is there elsewhere an occasion when Jesus heals without acknowledging someone's faith as a part of it?

Good question, it was the servant of the high priest who got he ear cut off. I need to give this question more thouth. but at first glance it look like it was a decision of Jesus as God in the flesh to heal to protect his disiciples .
