Wow I would have excepted it to have sound more like Stranded Beyond. Then again there might be some hidden things that I just don't hear. Are we sure that this is a song for the final world and not a slow version of Yozora's theme, or at lest part of it? Either way it sounds really nice you did a great good.

This is more of an event track for this specific cutscene, I don't believe it'll be returning in this shape! I chose to call it "Final World - Night" Because a lot of people seem to refer to it by something along those lines... So I don't think it's actually supposed to be an alternative for Stranded Beyond, or a real field theme for this alternative Final World. At the very least, we have no real way of knowing, since it got left out of the Soundtrack. But to answer your question, there are instances of what most people recognize as a slowed down variation of Sora's theme, being played by the piano. A reference to this same variation is also present in parts of Nachtflugel, Yozora's battle theme! I made a (kind of outdated) analysis on this a while ago if you wanna check it out, but I don't really agree with all of the points I made in that video anymore. And thank you! I'm glad this was a good recreation

@@KinodeVGM Your welcome thanks for answering the question. I actually ran into another one as I was going though KHMOM. Though it doesn't really have much to do with this video I hope it is alright if I ask it. As I was listening to "lord of the castle" I started hearing some of the same notes as your breakdown of MoM's theme. It wasn't a full repeat of anything so I am not sure it is really there at all or just two songs written by the same person that have a similar feel. I thought about trying to message you on twitter with this question as I wasn't sure how to ask you. Then I realized I wasn't sure if you wanted strangers messaging you on twitter for random questions so I ended up not saying anything even if I did know what your twitter was called. Sorry.

Hey no worries! Feel free to ask questions. I'm not sure which notes you mean, or what part of each song that would be, though. Personally, I haven't noticed any real similarities between the two themes, but I might have missed something. If you can remember the timestamps for each theme so I can check them out, let me know and I'll see if I can find something!

@@KinodeVGM In the Kingdom hearts 1.5 HD Remix OST that we have on KZbin for Lord of the Castle the thing that I might be hearing starts about 30 seconds in and stops before a minute. There are a few other places that have maybe five seconds of the same idea but it's buried under the more clear Lord of the Castle theme. I am not sure which instrument it is that I am hearing. But there is faster music overtop what it is that I am hearing but the notes I am hearing are slower.

@@hillaryslack2884 Hm, alright. I'm still not sure exactly what you're talking about-- If you could give me some sort of timestamp for it, and the idea from MoM's theme it's reminding you of that could help. However, I do believe you're thinking of the Organization Motif-- present in the polyphony of Lord of the Castle-- sounding similar to MoM's main motif-- the melody played by the strings in that theme. The reason for this is kind of simple, in which they both share an "M-shaped" melodic countour, which means the notes in the melody are't the same, but the directions they follow are similar! The rhythm in the Org's Motif in Lord of the Castle is also stretched out a bit in a way that could sound more similar to MoM's more dragged out melody. Personally, in the case that this is what you're talking about, I don't think it necessarily means anything. This specific motif is scattered around a /ton/ of tracks (Watch Green Requiem's "The Music of Kingdom Hearts" videos and you'll see what I mean), and Shimomura may or may not have composed the Master's theme with a similar melodic contour on purpose-- Either way, even if it was done on purpose, I feel like it must have been in the sense of "The original organization was mysterious-- so perhaps I could try using a similar aproach to composing this"
