Incredible footage Matt. Did largely the same route as you guys but on a motorcycle. Good to see the same places and appreciate the time it takes to record it as you did. I also like your South African trips through Cedarberg and Tankwa. Keep it up!!! Many thanks.

The series is outstanding. The beauty of the land is to marvel. The people you encounter along the way appear charismatic and connected to you and full of life the camera shows it true. The editing and voice over is entune and heartfelt. I cant think of a better experience than something genuine shared for each individual to feel a piece of it for themself. Only sad to see it end. Cant wait to see the next..

Great series Mat, well done to you and your crew! I enjoy your videos as they are about your passion for wild places and not all about promoting the “best equipment” on the market, even though being as comfortable as you can be is important. I am going to Namibia and Bots next year and can’t wait. Keep up your inspiring videos!

Awesome episode as usual Boet. Keep them coming. Quick question on your Hilux overland build Part 10 (Best Hot Water System) , have been looking around for a power bank with a 12 volt output to power up the Alva submersible pump , with no luck, do you have any info on your power bank that you can share that could narrow down my search?

Great series. Did you know that according to a scientific study by geneticist Vanessa Hayes at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney Australia, modern humans emerged 200,000 years ago around a huge lake in Botswana, Lake Makgadikgadi. According to this scientific study you were at ground zero for us modern humans when walking on these salt pans and around the perimeters which were once a vast lake surrounded by tropical forest. Other scientists don't necessarily dispute this but point to East Africa as the point of emergence but this evidence is more recent 130,000 years ago. There are still dots to connect and more work to be done but Lake Makgadikgadi may be where we all started so its home and this may be why when people visit they feel something.
