Yes, Helluva Boss! The pilot is virtually no longer canon, but does provide some vital information. The final 5 episodes of season 2 will be spread out over the rest of the year. Hotel focuses more on female/female relationships, helluva focuses more on male/male relationships. You should be prepared for angst to start towards the end of season one when the show starts to streamline the plot into a more focused topic.

There's a theory that Adam proposed the extermination just to get back and Lucifer for ruining both his wives. He doesn't actually believe any of it, he just wants to piss Lucifer off and make him pay. But Lute... Lute is a true believer. She believes with every single atom of her soul that they are right in slaughtering the sinners. If it was up to her, and now it is, she'd wipe every last one out every single purge. And the part very VERY few ever mention is that Lilith did a deal with Lute for Adam to die. To stay in heaven by the sound of it. But now Lute is telling Lilith to deal with Charlie so she doesn't screw up Lute's plans. I'm guessing Lucifer will have something to say about that. And it will probably help that he found himself again.

Lucifer only got involved with the extermination because Razzle or Dazzle died as a sacrifice (sacrificial lamb) and that Adam went after Charlie and harmed her. Charlie was supposed to be safe from the extermination because she was born in hell and not a human soul that died and went to hell. Also i think Nifty is a fallen overlord like Husker.

Razzle was born in Hell as well. The mere act of Lute killing Razzle is what allowed Lucifer to enter the fight. Adam trying to kill Charlie was just extra reason to take it extremely personally.

As an update on season 2, in recent interviews the voice of Charlie said the voice actors wrapped season two, but it still needs to be animated. According to the creator (Vivienne) it’ll be at least another year from now but she assures that the wait won’t be as long as fans waited between the pilot and the series. People really have no idea just how long animation takes. The average for a broadcast TV show is 8 - 9 months of animation work PER EPISODE. With Helluva Boss we were just watching episode 1 and the team was deep into animation on episodes 2 and into episode 3 as well. Final prep was likely happening on 4 at the same time. There is time to compose the background music which has to come after scenes are completed to match up. Final editing, sound mix. Animating a single episode is a massive amount of work. The fight in Helluva 1x6 ended up being way more complex and work than they thought it would be and added an additional 4 months to the process. Even Disney, with all of their animators, talent, and infinite money takes 5 years to wrap their films. And they have an extremely well established pipeline set up.

Rosie is heavily based on Dolly Levi from the musical "Hello, Dolly!" and I love her. She's so genuinely supportive with Charlie working through her doubts about Vaggie. Good catch about her being at the meeting of the overlords when she smiled at the egg. She also had a cameo in the pilot. Niall, Season 2 is supposed to drop in January. I’ve seen a lot of people say that if you like this, you might like helluva boss- and from a person who’s watched both shows, there’s a few reasons some might not like Helluva Boss because it’s really not like Hazbin hotel. It’s a lot dirtier, there really isn’t much plot, like it’s there, but it’s not there. It’s a good show yes but it’s not for people who aren’t big on a dirtier and more- idk how to describe it but they use words that we can’t say sometimes- it’s just more suggestive I guess when it comes to language. I’m not saying don’t watch it, just heed the warning that these shows are very different even though they are in the same universe. I enjoyed watching this video lmao💚💚

Helluva is very good, many have ended up liking it even more than Hazbin Hotel after giving it a chance. Regarding the plot, Helluva is a Character-Driven Story so obviously it's not going to be anything like Hazbin in which the plot is a little more important than the characters. I like Hazbin a lot but my favorite is Helluva because of how well written the characters are and how the plot has been progressing.
