For expiration dates, some companies use "born on" date while some use "expiration". Some display these dates as: day/month/year while others do month/day/year. When the requirements were set for the Food Labeling Act (1992??) it specified HOW things were displayed on a food label. Are there any requlations in the new laws about how lot codes must be displayed?
