To explain Shabiri and Hyetta (grape eating women) is a fair bit of lore. For starters, the world is influenced by several different outer gods. Mohg follows the Formless Mother (entering second phase, he is actually stabbing the outer god), the scarlet rot comes from another outer god, the eye opening on the fire giant is the Fell God, they have their influence on the world in some way and seem to have their own goals. The Greater Will with the Erdtree and the Golden Order seems to be one though I think theirs some debate on that one. But another one is the Frenzy God, as you can probably guess its goal is to engulf the world in chaos. To do so, it seems like it needs to posses a willing soul (fyi, something like this is in the dlc). It takes over the dead body of Yura (the Samurai) and the dead body of Irina (the girl who you met at beginning of the weeping peninsula who asks to give a letter to her father). The grapes are in fact eyes and they seem to direct her, now Hyetta, to the Shunning grounds under Lyndell. Shabiri tries to entice you to not sacrifice Melina and instead tries to direct you to the shunning grounds. Continuing Hyetta’s quest, she would be at the shunning grounds and will tell you how to enter that weird looking door. What’s behind the door I won’t say but it has interesting implications. The reason why theirs a particular way to enter is because Vyke has already succumbed to chaos, but it seemed like it was an incomplete process which I think is why we see him twice. Shunning grounds is also the location where all this happens is because all those dead bodies are the merchants whom you’ve seen all around the world and if you’ve attacked them, they frenzy attacks. That’s why a lot of them are nervous when you shop at them due to the massacre of their kind. At the shunning grounds, it also shows that they also attempted to summon the frenzy god, most likely to get revenge against the golden order. Why they failed I’m not sure but the entity they summoned remains there to engulf whoever comes next with chaos. Sorry for the long explanation. This was something I was personally curious about because I got the particular ending related to this and have spent some time looking into it, especially Hyetta because I didn’t understand her or where she came from. The Fire Giant fight is as epic as a Boss battle can get! I was SO feeling the tension when I first fought him!!! I was feeling like I was there! My favourite game ever! just a tip that will help you scale your charachter, you can have a buff ash of war on your left handed great stars. I recommend grabbing cragblade and putting it on the weapon. Just two hand the left weapon use aow then dual weild. You can even clone cragblade with a lost ash of war to have dual cragblade for insane posture damage. Only downside to that setup vs lions claw is the lack of hyperarmour, otherwise crag + lions claw is still better than no crag btw at 6:12 you can get that weapon in the castle fort laiedd (on the path to volcano manor) just kill the similar enemy there. iirc you can dual weild it with the giant hammer found in altus plateu south of the outer wall phantom tree site of grace. Its a more bonk heavy type of strength build but could be fun to try out. Recommend cragblade or lions claw for that version as well

I dk if he ended up getting it but theres a +25 smithing stone inside the giants skull next the the church where Okina invaded. Been having a great time following the run, enjoy it! Also Crumbling Farum Azula is the most interesting lore rich area in the game to me. And it has 2 of the best lore bosses in game. Super excited to see next episode!

You should look more into the Hyetta questline and Shabriri and all that. It leads to what is in my opinion the ending that makes more sense to me given the lore of the game (or rather my interpretation of it). The Crumbling Farum Azula is a cool dungeon but I didn’t like it too much although the setting is trippy lol. There’s also some cool lore around the fire giant but I’ll let the lore experts explain that (or look it up yourself!). As always, great video. I’m glad you’re back bro you’re by far my favorite FromSoft content creator rn. I like the laid back gameplay, just like the old days of YT.

Status effects on a dex build are really the best way to go if you can't do enough poise damage to keep him basically constantly staggered

You can still finish Hyetta's quest, even after burning the Tree and killing the skinwalker. Just don't do it. That would disappoint Melina if she was still alive. However, she's a finger maiden, and she offers guidance. Which might be interesting, in its own way.

Genuinely recommend that you wait on challenging Crumbling Faram Azula (or at least finishing the main game) until after you hit the Halig Tree and finish the DLC. It'll take some challenge out of the last few Main Game Boss fights, but the DLC ending is a little lackluster compared to the Main Game.

he was using the bone as a splint lol. a stilt is the sticks you stand on to make you taller, like at a circus. and then he burns his leg as a sacrifice to awaken the fell god, which is why the eye opens after he does that.

Nephelli Loux is a great summons. there is a way to turn her into a puppet and then we can use her as a summons and level her up. She wrecks bosses and is especially good in the early and mid part of the DLC. Now that you have got her on the throne of Stormveil you cannot get her as a summons. Well done on the fire giant.
