@5:37 Hot tip for you: instead of connecting the same signal to two inputs, right click on the VST, go to *Bus layout...* and switch input to MONO. Also, if you switch the input _AND_ output to Mono this reduces the CPU load of most plugins because they have less calculations to do... And for guitar effects you really don't need stereo processing for most plugins.

*Can you change PRESETS within the plugins with MIDI CC, like using a real rack effects unit?*

Yes, you can. For more information, please create a new thread in the Gig Performer Community forum.

Thanx for the tutorial!! I got one question, how to link it with Garageband? It doesn't appear as a plugin, so I can not use it to record . Thanx

Is there any sort of "performance layout" where I can see a minimalistic interface that indicates me what rackspace I'm in and (maybe) a few key controls I have bound to footswitches? I'm thinking of something that can recreate a similar view to what multi-fx floor processors usually provide. Just enough information for when you're performing but very easy to know (and read) what's going on P.S.: Bonus if it can go full-screen to minimize distractions

Yes, of course. It is called "Panels view". And yes, people are using Gig Performer like you described (among many other use cases). Another yes for the Full Screen view. Gig Performer is so flexible, I believe that "yes" would be the answer for all your questions. :)

@@nemanjapudar201 Sounds great. Looking it up, it seems to just lack some kind of (large text) label information so you can tell what rackspace you're in from far

@@APiccolo Look for the System Actions plugin block; there is this Rackspace name parameter. Assign it to a label widget and change the font size as you like :)

How are you getting 32 sample buffer size? I get a minimum of 64 in my M-Audio Fast Track, but i have to set it to 128 to have a glitchless sound 😢
@DavidJamesonPhD2 жыл бұрын
A decent computer and a decent higher end audio interface that has very low latency drivers. RME is famous for their drivers but they're very expensive. Apart from that, you need to make sure you don't use plugins that require a lot of latency.
@nemanjapudar2012 жыл бұрын
Supported buffer sizes depend solely on your audio interface. Anyways, the buffer size of 128 is great for the live use and the most people use 128 or 256 on their gigs.

I'm evaluating the use of gig performer to be a replacement of my TC helicon live acoustic vocal processor. This is mainly for vocals. Could you make a video to showcase using gig performance. I'm really looking forward to buy gp4 but want to be sure it will work on live vocals. Pls help
