First off I know you have heard most of the stuff I will Say here but after playing with a friend that hasn't played ow1, and literally saying the exact same words as you I had to leave a comment. Honestly to me something about teams having to work together to be able to succeed, makes me enjoy the game even more, I don't see myself not playing ow in the future I just really love the game. As for 6v6, while I agree with you to an extent that you don't have control over a match, I still believe that you can definitely change the tide of a team fight in order to win more games. In 5v5 you can press Tab and looking at your stats or even a teammate's stats can probably help you identify the issue that the team is having, in 6v6 its not really the case, that's why we didn't have stats in ow1. In 6v6 we depend more on our teammates, we need that off-tank to peal for our ana, we need Zarya bubble for our Hog to go for a risky hook, hell we even need that matrix to protect the monkey dive. I do want to say that after playing 5v5 for so long, the first day of playing 6v6 felt very bad to me. Because I just wasn't used to all the chaos that 6v6 brings, at times I felt like I was flicking my camera way too much because I couldn't keep track of everything happening at once. That's when I remembered something I realized back when I started playing ow1, I'm not alone on my team, and I'm not the only one that needs help in the team, and once I realized this, my games became more fun. Instead of just trying to go on a flank route and try to get a kill on my own as Genji, I dashed in behind Hazard and was able to finish off on his attempt to get a kill, Zarya bubbled my Rein, and I speed him up as Lucio so that we could rush the team and just get right up on them. Just the fact that we can shoot at stuff and they will die makes the game feel way better. Another thing is, I was playing Winston into Brig, Bastion, and Mauga. But I had better positioning, and well timed dives with my Diva. This caused me to win this game, something that in 5v5 no matter what I would've had to swap. Something that I told my friend while he ranted about having high kills and low deaths, was that this is not only about yourself this is about the whole team working as a team, kind of like playing a sport. I brought up volleyball because we both played volleyball in high school, I told him the example of a pass set and a spike, the pass might be decent, the set might be perfect, but the spike could be very bad and we end up not scoring even though two people were playing very well. What do we do in a situation where this happens. Just like in the game, our best efforts may not always lead to immediate success. But remember, each pass and set builds a foundation, each attempt strengthens our resolve, and every misstep is an opportunity to learn and grow. The important thing is to keep playing, keep striving, and believe that with persistence and teamwork, we'll find our rhythm and achieve our goals. This is the reason I fell in love with Ow, this is why I to this day keep playing. Now this has nothing against your opinions, I just wanted to bring a different perspective so that maybe you can look at 6v6 from a different direction. I hope you give it another try, and I hope you enjoy it. Have a great day!

I agree with you 100%. It's definitely a skill issue on mine and my friends part. Cris (alienphantom) and I started overwatch 2 around season 6. So relatively speaking we are still noobs. I am a borderline reddit Lucio one trick. So my learning process is going to be pretty slow. I also think the balance is a bit off compared to what it should be. I don't like the zarya changes. And I think Reign feels clunky. So that takes out two of my fallback heroes. From what they're saying it seems there will be more tests. And I will definitely continue to cover them as they happen. Thanks for your comment and perspective.

Eh OW2 was the worst thing that could have happened to the OW franchise. I’ve said it since launch and I still stand by it. We never needed a sequel. I gave OW2 many chances and even had success climbing up the ranks (masters 5)but nah not my game anymore. Once I get the chance, I’m going to be grinding marvel rivals from here forward.

no matter which is better, I would rather go play rivals

they sabotaged it man, had they just reverted the changes in season 9 the game would've been great as of right now there's too much sustain/hp making the time to kill way longer than it was in ow1 in other words super duper ultra pro max levels of boring like bro why did they have to sabotage it man

I agree. But from the way that the dev team is talking I believe there will be more than one test. So I hope that the future test will be better.
