Although I was too young but still I remember distinctly that I loved his voice & use to play his records on radiogram again & again. He never died He has become immortal. But, if you watch our documentary, you’ll see their father had lost his mind after master madam’s death. It was sad story to put forward. All India radio has no classical recordings left of him.

My father was an ardent fan of master madan. Since my childhood around 1954-55 ,I saw him listening radio Ceylon ,the old songs of Sahgal, master madan, Juthika Roy , Amir bai kernataki, Jagan moi mitro, etc. I was inquisitive about madan mohan ‘s death by poison. We heard from our elders that he was diagnosed with some ailments in his throat and doctors stopped him From singing but he couldn’t resist from it and that ailment took his life .
