I thought it’d be a fun idea to sit down and play the first Call of Duty game ever made, Call of Duty.
Just plain and simple Call of Duty.
This game was originally created in 2003, and it created the foundation for what Call of Duty games were supposed to be like: fun, casual, and simple.
Revisiting the most barebones Call of Duty (this time on PC) was an interesting experience.
It really put things into perspective for me, and I think any fan of Call of Duty, old or new should play the original Call of Duty if you get the chance!
So, what do you think of the first Call of Duty game ever made? Should I keep doing random COD videos like this? Let me know with a comment! ^-^

This game was amazing. I know for a lot of people that CoD 4 was their first, but this, this was truly an amazing game. Man, I feel bad for anyone who didn't play in the glory days of CoD: Classic, CoD 2, CoD: Finest Hour, and Big Red 1. Those games were great.

I remember those days of sniping on Dutch servers with 150 ping. (Shout out to XLR8OR at Twente University who ran it) I had to lead everything like I was dog fighting in a plane. LOL The servers on there were ran a hacked version of the server client for Linux. They changed the game some, headshots were instant kills unless they hit your helmet which in that case it was shot off your head and bounced on the map with a metal clang xD. They also made hip fire very inaccurate to encourage people to ADS. The people added trip mines too, but in order to lay one down you had to pick up one from a dead body because you needed 2 and you only started with 1. CoD2 was a vast improvement but out of all the newer Call of Duty games that's come out, I'd say that World at War was the closets to the same spirit as the originals. Thanks for going back and shining a light on that gem of a game. :D

I used to play this so much, and do all kinds of research to the point I first found out how to download mods, to making my own skins, and my own mods. I really increases the gaming experience, because mods make this game better. Not that godmode, or invisible shit, but actual skin, or weapon mods, or the Expansion Pack UO (United Offensive) had driveable vehicles, there would be some mods to change the vehicles. I love this game so much. Also there is a setting in the menu, where you can change the graphic quality, and there would be just so much detail on even the person.

uppishcub1 I've played COD 2 many a time, so unless you're talking about Big Red one,which I haven't played since PS2,8 some odd years ago,that song was never used in just standard COD 2,and if it was it wasn't on XBox 360. It was however used in WAW and some others if I remember correctly.

I played this on PS2 and I still have the game! I finished the game and I still play through it every now and then :)
