I found sometimes I don't get the material drop on hard mode (rare) but on normal it always drops 2-3. so even on normal this would be viable.

Nah it still works I got mine hella fast this way. Its just random drop.

Just realized it drops every time on normal an nearly never drops on hard just do normal way faster
