The First Descendant - Final Technical Test Gameplay - Steam - F2P - PC/Console - EN

I played some TFD during last weekend's Final Test, so here is some gameplay. The game changed a bit, there is new stuff in-game and they also showcased some items from the shop. I also upgraded my hardware since the last beta, so the game runs smoothly now with my RTX 4070 with all on ultra.

it never had jiggle Physics lol what you mean you even played the cross platform beta in 2023 there already wasn't any jiggle there anything before that also didn't have any jiggle in it. and that's also the reason the game madi it to be cross platform since you know.. Xbox and sony are woke as sh#t when it comes to DEI garbage..

@@riddif Ehhh maybe. Big MMOs like ff14 have 2 different versions. There is a version for China that doesn't see the light of day in the west with how terrible they gutted it. This more than likely is Sony's doing more than blaming it on Big Red. I'm sure they would have a different version over there too.

Glad they are letting you customize your characters your way, I was worried from the beta that the game would be stuck with the same models and you only get to change the outfits and whatnot. That would be kinda boring after a while.

A shame that they went with quite conservative outfits, unlike what they can do in Hit 2 for exemple. I suppose distributing on PS5 with Sony pushed them to do the same treatment as Stellar Blade.

It's been like a year or so since I watched anything from this game but I remember complaining about the game having high quality characters but the rest of the game looked either unfinished or just not high quality enough and now that I finished this... From the gameplay I'm guessing you put a good chunk of hours into that Final Test. Didn't get to try it myself but hopefully the experience has improved upon previous betas (though the last beta was decent).

The enemy AI in this looks really brain dead. Just standing around getting killed or running around aimlessly instead of properly fighting back, hell one of them was even shooting the floor because of positioning instead of lifting it's arm to shoot over the edge at the player. The game looks pretty but just comes across as mindless to me.

Pretty but looks unfinished. Like a mobile game retextured for pc release. After getting used to the smooth movements and animations in helldivers 2 I don’t think i can play this.

The performance is better in this technical test than the last beta test they had. Last beta test was a stutter fest. The fields are pretty repetitive in their objectives, but I haven't really seen too much of it yet. Movement and gunplay feel pretty good.

I'm a little disappointed, the combat is too fast, all players run too wold, the grappling hook ruins all, all characters seems "godlike", ... and worst of all, something is weird with the faces (could be the noses) that makes them not pretty enough. Just a question, is it possible to use the arrow keys in this game to move the characters ? ....... I don't want to install again a game in that's not possible.

@@Archony. I prefer this game to Warframe myself, but if we're being objective, it will need at least 5 years (hopefully it's still around) to compete with Warframe. You can argue it's better than Destiny (strong maybe) but Warframe is undisputed. Even as a TFD stan I have to admit that.

@@hashioka6937 вообще-то было обт, и я на нём играл. И игра мне очень понравилась... фраза "я пока не попробовал" - означает то время, которое было до момента, пока я не ПОпробовал. А когда попробовал, впечатления от игры получил положительные. Школу надо не прогуливать и побольше книг читать, лучше старую классику, тогда не будет проблем с пониманием написанного :) И не будешь вызывать смех 🤡 В игре меньше беготни, больше тактики и взаимодействия персонажей. Ну и графика само собой в разы приятнее. Я кстати играл в варфрейм в его первые дни существования, знаю как он тогда выглядел 😁 Разработчики над ним за эти годы поработали очень хорошо. А тут у нас игра, которая еще даже не релизнулась, считаю, что если сама нексон её не задушит, то это будет успешный успех и очень популярная игра. А вот тот же дивижн 2 мне бесплатно вообще достался, запустил и удалил 😁 мне даже стрелять в нем не понравилось, не говоря уже про миссии.
