I want to caveat this. If you get the targeted pattern on wave 4 or 6, it will reset the pity system for the next wave. I have gotten x11 patterns in one SpecOp mission while 12 is the max you can get per run with this new system.

From my experience, both the stabeliser and advanced stabeliser do nothing. I've NEVER gotten anything I wanted when using them, and always got the items when not using them.

you’re mistaken, they meant non-ult freyna pieces from normal dungeons that drop at a 20% chance. they said the 20% was working perfectly but the individual experiences of players not getting her piece after 20 runs even at a 20% chance was what led them to devise this current pity system. this is why you can only target things that are mission rewards (amorphs from outposts, regular descendant pieces in normal dungeons like blair’s and sharen’s, etc.) but not the contents of the amorphous itself.

The implemented this for other reasons, but take note Freyna drops her individual materials from normal mode. So it does help with that after you repeat the mission a set number of times. They never referred to ULTIMATE Freyna. They were talking about normal Freyna, Blair and Sharen at the time

It does help getting Morph Mats from Outposts for sure. I managed to get all Ultimate Sharen parts in one day thanks to this system AND thanks to Advanced Shape Stabilizers (or ASS for short :). TIP: If you plan to use any ASS to farm Ult Sharen parts, i recommend going for any purple morph mat where the Sharen part is at 3%. Using an ASS will change it to 38%. It's a little better than 32% from gold morph mats.

I think it's meant more for season stuff than the base game content honestly, many many MANY of the amorphuses you just get automatically as a base drop from whatever missions they're attatched to anyway... so targeting them is pointless... but with 'current season' activities like the new descendant and the doggo... this is a really good system to help players get the most out of the season content while it's here.

feel like you should be able to target 1 keelan and 1 doggo part at the same time seeing that the container is random at the end. Also would be beneficial if the gauge would be fixed because sometimes you get 6% or 20% of the target gauge. Other than that, the system is fine

The reason you would be getting a 6% drop sometimes vs a 20% drop might depend on what container your opening each of the containers have different drop rates for each item

Target system really saved me.. I needed the dog catalyst which was 25% drop rate i just got bad RNG and it never dropped but target System came in clutch and saved my insanity and gave it to me after reaching the max attempts

@MiladYalda-e1y Here's a trick you can do for bad rng! At least for me, I'd logout after 2-3 attempts! Go to the main menu then go back! Don't go through 9-10 times thinking you're gonna hit! By logging out, you're resetting rng! The rng, aka:algorithm learns from you! It's basically an AI! Only the first attempt is random!

@MiladYalda-e1y Yeah, I'm a programmer. I know how programs work.You know about Telemetry in Windows 11, Google, web browsers? Even KZbin! It's a program initiated by the game to track , aka;RNG! It's supposed to give you a fixed amount during a cycle to balance out positive & negative. Not too much, and not to little. Problem with RNG is it relates to certain times of the daily cycle. So when decide to let's say roll for weapons, you get descendants! That's because it's that time of or night which effects what's currently being promoted! Like weekly sales in a store! Next week it'll be the other stock that goes on sale! You get the drift, right? Logging out forces a reset on the RNG, meaning it has no current profile of you! Outposts are ideal for this system of resetting over intercepts, but still works! At least for me! I only have Kyle left to get for current 100% Descendant stock, other than Keelan, and fellow! Those you'll end up getting sooner or later! Good luck and Happy Holidays/Gaming!

I got the dog stabilizer which was the final part I needed.. the game gave it to me instantly after the % meter was filled all way after doing certain number of attempts.

This does certainly make farming the patterns quite a bit more easier - gone are the days of running an outpost 10-12 times (or more) and not getting the pattern you wanted 😅 That said, I feel like they could implement it into Mods and actual Pattern rewards, but make the progression (pity count) longer to achieve? For example: I know they wont want everyone running around with Ult Descendants and such, so make the pity marker about 50 points? And it has to be of the Patterns that reward that item.. you cant say, use Pattern 54 for Ultimate Freyna piece (because it doesnt reward it). Additionally, have it that the yellow Patterns Hard Mode) are equal to 1 point, and the purple ones (Normal) are 0.5 points to keep people feeling the need and encouragement to progress through the game. If this method could be similarly extended to Mods (some of which have a really low drop-rate) I would be eternally grateful 😆🙏

good info. Thanks. yah it is helpful to have the pity system but it still is very annoying when you can't use it for a weapon part. i am trying to get the 2nd Anvil and the part is 20% within the amorphous pattern once you do the Boss run....ran it 16 times last night... and 10 times the other day...wouldn't drop. That is not fun...purely annoying and frustrating...btw if you try any type of stabilizer there is not effect since they designated this at 20% right in the middle....every other item will shift except the 20%....

Ugh my issue was never with getting the amorphous, it was with opening stacks of them and still not getting the thing I need. Even on items with 32% chance. Just today I opened 15 of one and still didn't get a single one of the item with a 32% chance. This system is so close to being what we'd like, yet misses.

I am aware that RNG is problematic for the amorphous opening, but if they make that too simple and gut the system, it completely takes away any grind. Target system is absolutely fine. I don't understand why anyone thought they would reduce the grind to almost nothing. There already giving the ability to switch the percentage what more do you need. These kinds of complaints seem to come from players that don't understand how these types of games are supposed to actually work. Nexon did good with this specifically imo.

My problem with it is there isn't really a use for it. Outpost are extremely easy to farm now and the dog plus Keelan could be frustrating, but it's not a difficult grind at all. It's useful, but it's usefulness is gone once you have the dog and Keelan.

I havnt used the target reward system yet but i think one of the purposes is to help people obtain those Amorophous materials that u need Sharen to obtail through infiltration but you dont have Sharen yet

the blueprints for ultimate sharen have been a breeze. especially with the advanced stabilizers. the biggest issue is heavy ion collector. you have to run mysterys end ~30 times to get them.

ok heres my opinion on this one if they really want to stick with this mechanics, first dont reset the bar regardless if you get the items or not specially the AMO because of the RNG inside of it, second just scrap this mechanics and replace it with more manageable mechanics like doing something inside the dungeon or intercept: example in intercept boss theres a breaking rewards like a mini quest (you cant set a rewards) and breaking all of the parts gives you the set rewards as a additional 20%-30% and for dungeon theres some breakable something that will spawn very strong alternate bosses or 100 elite that killing them very fast will make your set rewards as a i dont know 20% rather than standard 5% and to offset that your rewards will be lock out to that set rewards and the other rewards will turn into gold or kuiper or something.

The rate at which the target system charges seems varied? Some pieces I've farmed from Keelan/Dog charged by 20% per failure. But for my friend some of the same pieces he was farming for were only charging maybe... 8.5% or so per failure?

The cost of those advanced stabilizer things to flip the percentages are very expensive. So, good luck, getting several of them on top of all the other things you want to buy from the eo store. It's okay. The system, but the R and g on top of R and GIS what the problem is with this game. On top of that, some of these items are ridiculously expensive. Like the little things you need to upgrade your reactor. Or the materials you need to create the items to level your dog up or fellow. I totally understand the need to grind. But those of us that work don't have that type of time. Which is why this game went from 250000 players. All the way down to almost 5000 just a week or 2 ago. This game needs more content, and it needs to upgrade the pity system to actually target the items you want, not the amorphous materials. Honestly, they need to get rid of amorphous materials. They used to drop at a decent percentage before season one and ever since then. At least for me, they do not drop like they used to. Having said that, I'll do what I can and what I can't is what it is. At least I enjoy the gameplay, and that's what it's all about. Edit when i'm talking about those things for your reactor i'm referring to the new ones that you upgrade your reactor beyond the second level. At level 3,4 and 5. Those materials are very expensive and need to be nerft in half. Imo. I understand the need to grind. And I'm willing to grind, but again, a lot of us work for a living. So the time isn't there for many players, and they get frustrated in check out of the game. That's not what we want. We want the game to be rewarding for our time.

Useless stats will still roll on them. Just so you know, they never said anything about changing the rolls :P Farming reactors is simple, just go for the reactor that matches your skills. That's it. They will drop all the varieties of weapons now.

This is from TFD page "Infiltration Support Feature Added ㄴ When activating ‘Other Infiltration Support’ option, you will receive the rewards for the selected Infiltration Operation, but you can move to another Infiltration Operation with fewer Descendants." It's supposed to come out tomorrow. Hopefully they also add it for the 400% ones.

But whenever one of us get that blueprint via drop (let's say i get it), it resets the gauge for BOTH of us while in reality my friend didnt get that blueprint. Why is that?

The container at the end is random. You have to wait until you get a Keelan box and if you open it and don't get the part you want, the bar will go up. They will have a hotfix soon to make the boxes that appear more "fair" for players and less reliant on RNG, but the fact remains that for the target farming bar to go up, you need to open a Keelan box

Every once and while you get a win, and then you stay at the table longer. The system knows how you play, when you play, when you stop trying, over and over. So the "RNG" for each one of us is different. the game is crafted this way to keep you playing and it knows your tolerances. Many games do this,,,,

lol this pity system is a joke ... it's only for Amorphous and then you still NEED to use the advance stabilizers to switch the percentages to get what your trying to get. So the question is, is there a pity system for getting the shape stabilizers? this dumb as system they came up with is a 2 part system. pity system for Amorphous and then run the content to get what your actually looking for as normal, over and over and over, then on each run use an advance stabilizer, for which there is no pity system for and you need to grind other content for to get. wow....what a full waste of game development time and money.

Regular stabilizers are useless, and so far the advanced ones have been doing it for me. I'm more peeved that you can't target the mods, I've never had a problem farming amorphous materials

@@RealAsianRobot they need to do a lot of things in the future. im on ps4 pro and my game crashes a lot, like every 40 min or so. i seen some are making same comment on other systems. ultimate reactor wont register my weapon type too, so i have to re equip many times. its like they fuck up so many things. you seen the news section in their site? a lot of update/patch notice.

@@amazo88 The PS4 issue is unfortunately something that is player side. The game has continued to improve its optimization but it has been moving toward higher end hardware. Same for Xbox. I would recommend a PS5 Pro to future proof your gaming if you plan to play further. While lower end hardware is taken care of to some extent, you'll never enjoy the full gaming experience. Same for us PC gamers, we have to upgrade constantly to keep up with the latest games. So I would highly recommend improving your hardware to resolve these issues. There are minimal to no crashes on higher end hardware. The other problems may be related to this as I've heard that PS4 is receiving the brunt of the issues right now

The target reward system is basically garbage is a waste of time. It’s only good if you are trying to obtain the dog and the new descendent. I was trying to see if I could use the targeted reward system to obtain certain mods that I still do not currently have and you cannot use that reward system for that is only amorphus materials Unless they adjust it, I think it’s pointless and I believe many others will agree on that.

You really think think this is supposed to be it? Atm, you can only benefit from the system for the new fellow and keelan, and nothing else. Most amorphous is 100% droo rate, (nevermind outposts lol) so what sense does this system make...none. It looks unfinished for one, and you probably are targeting the item, not the amorphous, when you choose that amorphous from the item list you got to it from. If not, then this is ridiculous, to say the least, targeting amorphous, lol.
