I'm playing at 1440p ULTRA with DLSS Quality & ULTRA Raytracing and Frame Generation 100-140FPS is enabled because my baseline FPS was high enough with 70-90FPS to use it without noticing much of any latency increase, PC TEST SPECS BELOW CPU: Intel i9 10850K 10Core 20Thread Allcore OC RAM: GSkill TridentZ 3200C14 32GB DualRank (4x8GB) Samsung Bdie GPU: MSI RTX4080 SUPER @ 320 Watts Power Limit Running via NVME Storage 2560x1440p 165Hz Gsync VRR

Thanks for the benchmark. Just building a rig with 4080S and R7 7800X3D, 32GB and couldn't decide if it's reasonable to go for 4K or 1440p. Newly released games show that 4K will need a little tweaking soon and 1440p looks like a great investment for the future. What are your views on that?

Funnily enough I just sold my 10850K Rig to replace it with a 7800X3D in a few days or so I'm ordering it, also paired with my current 4080 Super and will revisit this game as part of my testing. I have a 1440p 165Hz panel but also will do Nvidia DSR 4K modes too. I think it'll be pretty solid for 99% of games and only the badly made games might give us trouble, beyond that most games seem to play nice with 3DCache chips except the crappy made pc games. Can always set an FPS cap of 120 if 160 can't be reached, or 90 if 120 can't be reached but I think only Dragons Dogma 2 and Star Citizen are the main badly made games that are not great on 7800X3D Having 1440p was my goal as targeting 4K with really high details equals lower fps than I'd like typically. Within a week or so I should start uploading again and I'll make sure to make this game one of the first few videos. My latest community post has a picture of my old 10850K Rig, it got sold today, ordering the new pc within a couple days.
