Idk why but the name "The first disciple" just seems so badass. It's almost like "the first apostle" or something like that, it conveys a simple terrifying truth....as strong as Rhulk may be, he is but a servant to a higher and more powerful being.

Rhulk’s story is one of the best for a villain in Destiny, in my honest opinion. It’s a shame it’s not fully animated, as I feel it could almost work as a short film.

I like this, because it's like a duet. You get the Darkness, Rhulk's theme playing hard. The chanting and violins make you fear him, he demands respect. But the Guardians' theme plays just after, as a response, as if proving him wrong. A duet, a fight between representatives of both Light and Dark. That Guardians Make Their Own Fate, that we are his End. Absolutely incredible music.

This is probably the best raid music for one of the best bosses. I love how canonically not all the guardians made it out alive. It shows how powerful Rhulk really is and how terrifying the Witness must really be.

I honestly think this fight could've had more layers to it, its honestly one of my favorite raid bosses, but I believe their should've been more layers, for example a phase similar to "Hostage" in KF where Rhulk pulls everyone into a different dimension or destination much similar to what is shown in the art on this videos background with a whole other mechanic inside. (Idk, that just might be me asking for too much but this was the first boss to actually fight back which felt like a breath of fresh air, but I believe raids as a whole could have so many more awesome layers to them, im tired of seeing multiple symbols (not that I don't like them, all the encounters are great) I believe a lot of encounters in destiny raids to be somewhat similar yet unique, I just want more of a challenge, something to push a player to insanity, much like the vault in The Last Wish, but not complicated hard, I want it to be more mechanically difficult, much like the part of VOW where their are the 3 artifacts but much harder, requiring more player communication and trail and error. I went through this raid for the firs time a couple of weeks ago blind with 4 others who were also blind while 1 guy taught us the raid and we had almost no problems throughout the whole raid. Might just be me, but these raids are amazing but im looking for something more difficult. Maybe i'll get what im asking for when the new raid comes out and I attempt to day 1 the raid). when you see “first disciple” we’re definitely gunna have a multiple disciples, maybe like the barons but hopefully on a grander scale and we have to work our way through their ranks and echelons till we get to witness. Would be scary if Rhulk was a weaker disciple.

I'm pretty sure that someone said something about rhulk being one of the weaker disciples. I believe nezareck is more powerful calus may be weaker than rhulk but it depends on what the witness changes about calus he will also be able to control the pyramid splinters and we all know calus will not underestimate us like rhulk foolishly did he's watched us since the leviathan raid and knows what we are capable off. His fight will be a tough one if he's in the raid for lightfall
