Some of these people have the power too turned up. Every input they’re getting all the power. Love the detail that many have put into their cars though!

I believe they're geared for the whole u4 race, not just the crawling parts. Pure crawlers do a lot more crawling and less wheel spinning :)

Thanks for filming!!!! Had an ABSOLUTE BLAST!!!!!

My opinion would be that they should’ve changed the spur gear for torque, and adjust esc to start mode to LOW. They were going to fast. But great content! Keep it up for next event!

Nice looking builds. Too bad they were only 2 speeds. Full speed forward and full speed reverse.

Seems a few thought open diffs would be a good idea. In U4 maybe, rock crawling absolutely not, lol

Seems like a cylindrical tube frame would be ideal for righting yourself, you could build it so two tires always can get at least a little bite

I'm kind of surprised watching it now that nobody else tried to hit that big line up the middle. It might have suited the low slung cars more.

These guys need some wheel weights and brass in the front of their rig. Simple green cleaner on the tires will make them sticky

Check out the Axial Capra, Bomber, Wraith, and Yeti - and the Losi Rock Rey, as well as the Gmade GOM for kit versions - swap plastic for metal as you break stuff... 👍

this shows the poor low speed throttle controllability of the chosen brushless systems. Not very impressive driving but nice looking trucks. This course was mostly rock, really needing different tires, many rigs seem pretty top heavy, basic Capras did pretty well in this
@chrisstrobel34394 жыл бұрын
It seems to me more poor motor and gearing choice, and nervous driver skill to me than top heavy. My Capo JkMax 1/8 scale Jeep Wrangler at 12lbs is very top heavy compared to my comp crawlers and Vanquish scale rigs, but it handles the most like my 1:1 real Jeep.

These aren't true rock crawlers. These are more desert racing stadium truck style RC's. There's hardly any articulation and low gears. A true RC 4x4 crawler would breeze right over most of this.

Psychic Pawn A Dlux or built RC4WD Bully II comp crawler, or Vanquish VC-4 Pro scaler come to mind. Most of the rigs in this video .. as good as they look .. are painful to watch 😳
