ML dying was too easy. I get the message but I think him saving her at the end but still living without her would have been better. Just as a reminder that there was never a need to treat her the way he did, not bc she was that kid that saved his life but simply a human being that deserved to be treated was a little respect. At some point the message should ultimately be treat people with some respect regardless of your opinion of them. Ultimately he did not even truly love the girl of his memory bc he did not truly fight for her when it mattered most. ML was too busy standing on his soap box with a chip on his shoulder bc of his traumas. A person’s trauma does not give them the right to treat others badly.

The FL lead who was once brave as a child became so cowardly. Yes she was crippled she waa adopted by wealthy family her mental state was not healthy for her to accept being bulllied and not fight back. She couldn't stand on her own and she was taken advantage of. Her marry the ML because of grandma is really pitiful. ML forgot he was once a criple and allowed FL to be mistreated, he was not kind at all and is really blind not to see how FL was being mistreated. Glad FL did not marry him, even if she forgave him she deserve better. Jesus this Drama is terrible. ML is brainless, remorseless and moralless. Who abuses disabled people especially when they were disabled themself? The Sister and her cohorts were even worse, trying to ruin Jenny any way possible, and say they did nothing wrong. The pure irony of it all was that Charles, the childhood bully, actually turned out to be a good man who was actually smart and supportive, recognized Jenny, and didn’t even want anything from her. But I think what makes Callares truly scum is that he wanted to get rid of a baby just because he thought it wasn’t his, and forced Jenny to take the pills (Albeit coercion from the sister). Could have just sent to to foster care, but no, straight to medicine. And wants to get back with her after that, are you serious? You caused fatal harm to an unborn baby, not even drunk abusive fathers even go that far. His end was deserved, and I hope Jenny is happier with Charles. Tdlr: The only decent people are Jenny, Charles, Grandma and Guard guy.
