@@stever4181 thank you for the question as I navigate through this. What’s stopping me? Sometimes it seems that it’s the enemy and other times it’s seems as though I’m stopping myself. I seek to do all that I know to do to grow closer to Jesus (read/study the Bible, pray, church attendance, listen to messages and worship music throughout the day) and with all the effort to get closer. it seems like there are times where God is still far. I believe in Christ Jesus I just long to have the relationship and intimacy with Him that Bayless spoke of at the end of this video (around 25:27). 🙏

We all come out of Adam's old trash pile. That's a way of saying no matter how good we may think we are, we've got to be saved by repentance by God's grace though the conviction of the Holy Ghost.
