good catch. By going down the path that they did in the First Omen, I think they are subtly trying to set up a new set of Omen movies. By dropping those member berries throughout the film, they are trying to ease us in.

I don't understand why people are giving this film bad reviews. I just got out from this movie and it was outstanding amazing acting such a fresh breath of air in 2024 considering all the bad horror movie line ups this year.

It's because of jackal thing which is dumb there were already split opinions before this movie if one scours net which nobody did. Also there's the father Brennan thing which actually maybe can be explained away as well. No the thing that got me was timeline issue but if ppl watched 3rd movie in Damien trilogy they'd see as I meant. And per Damien having a twin that wouldn't be conflicting because the antichrist is always a guy. The omen 4, Damien had a daughter who had a weird twin brother situation and when her baby bro was born he was next in line to be antichrist and the daughter still had evil powers so again I'm going with it's always the guy. I liked this movie and at least it got me to watch the rest so it's good too in cases like that

That story about cutting the shot before Damien smiles is NOT true. Richard Donner wanted him to smile. While filming the scene, he said to the actor (Harvey Spencer) "Dont you smile, dont laugh" knowing he would indeed smile.

Interesting, based on this interview it sounds like Margaret really is an original character (that is unless she turns into a jackal), was hoping for a twist that she'd turn out to be a young Mrs Baylock... shame, Nell totally looks like a young Billie Whitelaw.
