the day i encountered God...I knew something was about to rupture in me...i have been under deep satanic influence but i love God...infact the demon visited me in my dream and said he isnt saying i should worship God..But i should give him what he wants and dat is fornication..this encountered with God opened me up...i began to pray and pray....then i heard a voice saying this part i am about to take would bring about a eruption in devils kingdon..i should get ready that they would visit me....and behold the devil came to me...but they were defeated....the lord gave me the spirit of might and power and also wisdom...the way they have been defeated...is beyond my comprehension...but God is a mighty man of war....if you dont have Jesus Christ...i dont know how to explain but you are missing...

Yes good long prayer is the key to communicating with God and taking dominion over the forces of darkness but to know the ways of God and live a life pleasing before him you need to study his word for long than you pray for long. I am fully in support of what he said about prayers but you need to pray with revelation so you can't know God by prayers but by studying of his word. The study of the word is what makes you walk in holiness and not how long you pray... So he should try to balance it up. That's my point. Nevertheless this was when he came to YABATECH when i was one of the executives in one of the departments...

I’m sure he has more experience in the matter than you. There are people who know the Bible back to back but don’t pray (I.e theologians) yet holiness doesn’t flow through their vessel! Studying the word of God is extremely important! But prayer is “importanter”. Nevertheless a balance approach is to have both in abundance.

My brethren I also pray and whenever i pray by his will from understanding the word of God he always answers. Now brothers and sisters i am not telling you another person's experience but mine. If i pray for you and you are sick through the proper means you will be healed, if i see anybody in a bad sickness and i speak you will certainly begin to get better. I only understood his word and hold him by his word. And please believers power is not generated through prayers but through and understanding in your walk with God. If you pray understanding the word of God you should know that you have power. Listen no place in the Bible tells us that power is generated from long prayers (no where at all). You have power by the holy ghost not your long prayers... “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” - John 6:63 (KJV) “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” - Acts 1:8 (KJV) So i hope you understand me. Let everything be balanced you balance scriptures with scriptures. Praying without ceasing yes not praying long but praying without ceasing is you are to live a life of constant prayers for communication and battle purpose but it is not in the prayers you generate the power. Moreover the greatest commandment is love so therefore you can't get that by praying but by studying the word...
