@@what-uy7go Well yeah, Tukachevsky did his fair shair of killing aniway, all of them were full on darth vaider mode somtimes. Which comes with such power and authoritie especialy coupled with the revolutionary juristiction and tribunals. You are eather for the revolution or you perish, history desides.

Voroshilov was a friend of Stalin while Tukhachevsky was friends with Trotsky, that was all it took. Even if Tukhachevsky was an infinitely more talented military commander

Ive been trying to find info on how Stalin gained control of the Secret Police after Lenins death I know he was General Secretary but im suprised the Party allowed him to control them. But what I also try to remember with these people. My grandad was born in 1931... these people were well into their 40s and 50s even by then. Thats how long ago it was
