The First Ride on my New bike and I nearly LOST my Eyes! 👀

Here it is… My new bike for the 2024 season!
The Zerode Katipo! I have spent some time testing this bike and it has some many strong qualities that other bikes do not have. As someone who lives in NZ where the zerodes are produced, I gotta say these things are quickly becoming very popular over here, its not often we go out riding without seeing people fanging round on them. Everyone i've talked to only have good things to say about them... keen to hear your thoughts on the bike!

Wearing goggles there is a must. 3:53 Riding that you are asking for trouble, not surprised by the result. Best to move that broken tree part far away. I'm always scared of branches, if there are branches or fallen trees or very muddy I use goggles. Quite different conditions compared to Norway, it's ice and snow.

14:19 In the future maybe, but for me now I can't go for a gear box, as I need oval or my knees hurt. But due to how the current gearboxes work it's not possible, as the drive ring does not move back and forth with the crank, it's not attached to the crank.

It's funny! Sometimes I'll ride the Mrs medium 27.5 size bike and, while it is too small for me, it is easier to turn and maybe feels better and livelier somewhat! I'd love to get a gearboxed bike in the future. With 1 by drive trains, having all that 'weight' of the 11/12 cogs on the back tyre, it must be more balanced to put the main weight of the gearing system in the middle of the bike?
