The First Step: Salvation - Dr. Charles Stanley

Believing there is a God won’t bring us salvation, nor will good deeds.
In this challenging message, Dr. Stanley tells us we must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to be saved. After all, salvation comes from God’s grace. He not only forgives our sins, but He bestows upon us the gift of eternal life.
Dr. Stanley explains that we are living in a world where people’s morals are changing. Many have decided that the Word of God just doesn’t work anymore. But despite this challenge, we must remember this one constant: Jesus’ sacrificial, substitutionary, and sufficient death on the cross paid for our sin debt in full. If we believe that Jesus is the Son of God and we trust Him for our salvation, we will be saved.

Speak the word of God everyday. There are scriptures, words from our Lord Jesus online you can read, it will surely help you. Start your day, thanking the Lord, say positive things about your life, your daughter. Speak faith-filled words everyday like these. - “I have faith in Jesus. I’m grateful that I’m blessed. My daughter is healed. I reject all doubts and fears. All is well in Jesus Name”. When you pray, ask the desired result. Believe you received it. Don’t speak the doubts and negative thoughts. I have listened to Charles Stanley for decades, never wavering the gospel of Christ. I just love his messages from God, presented in a fashion that even a child can understand. To me, Charles Stanley is one of the most compassionate pastor in the world, he does have a pastor's heart for the sinner. I pray these messages stay on ytube, and on tv, bc this lost world needs Jesus. I will miss my favorite pastor, preaching messages on salvation, and life changing messages, since he has retired from being the pastor of the 1st Baptist Church of Atlanta Georgia. I have always wanted to go to Atlanta to hear him preach, but I have a library of tapes, books, CD's, so I can hear his messages, they all bless my heart. Do you know what the Ministry of reconciliation means? It takes two for the process of reconciliation. God made the first step: He reconciled himself to the world. He would never reconcile himself to sin. So what did He do? Christ paid the price for the sins of the whole world. That was the necessary atonement, directly followed by God forgiving the world all trespasses. Today, sin is not imputed to anyone, ALL sin was put on Christ, buried with him. When Christ rose again, all sin stayed in his grave and is not ever to be re-imputed to anyone in this dispensation of Grace. That's our good news of today the Gospel of our salvation: the work was finished on the cross, once and for all. Now sin is put out of the way between God and man. Hallelujah 🙏🙏🙏 Now it's your turn: be ye reconciled to God. Believe that all your sins were forgiven by God when Christ paid the price for every single sin. This is salvation today: believe, your sins were completely forgiven on the cross when you were His enemy,as the sins of the whole world were paid and forgiven there. Believing that, trusting in Christ alone is what saves you today. In this very moment, Christ's righteousness is imputed in your account, by His spirit you are baptized into Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, eternal life and all spiritual blessings are yours, you are a new creature, a member of the church, the Body of Christ, your Destination is heavenly places. Paul, our only apostle,did not say one single word in all his 13 epistles how to get your sins forgiven. Because salvation is to believe they already are. This is our ministry, Ambassadors for Christ, ministers of reconciliation. Share the good news that God has forgiven all the worlds sin and is not imputing them, today is the day of salvation! The way of Salvation is through Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the only way we can take Christ Jesus upon us is by confessing our sins, accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into our hearts as Our Personal Lord and Savior, through the Baptism of Repentance into Christ Jesus. The Bible tells us that John the Baptist was sent “To give Knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins” Luke 2: 77. We cannot change ourselves and so we need to be REBORN into CHRIST JESUS in order to be saved, and we do that through BAPTISM in HIS NAME. You cannot be SAVED or ENTER the KINGDOM of HEAVEN without being REBORN, Jesus Christ states this when He talks to Nicodemus about being REBORN. He says in John 3:3, "Jesus answered and said unto him, VERILY, VERILY, I SAY UNTO THEE, EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, HE CANNOT ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD." Here is why: Romans 6: 3. “Know ye not, that so many of us as were BAPTIZED into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Romans 6:4. “Therefore we are BURIED with HIM by BAPTISM into DEATH; that like as Christ was RAISED up from the dead by the Glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:5. “For if we have been PLANTED together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His RESURRECTION.” Romans 6:6. “Knowing this, that our OLD MAN is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be DESTROYED, that henceforth we should not serve SIN.” So we see that it is very important to get BAPTIZED IN HIS NAME for the remission of sins, without BAPTISM into CHRIST JESUS, there is NO REMISSION OF SINS. In the Book of Acts 2:37, the people ask Peter, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Peter Himself responds in Acts 2:38, “Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Remember this, Christ Jesus Himself needed to get Baptized, because there is ONE SIN that we all inherited from the first CARNAL MAN, which was ADAM, that is not OURS. Christ Jesus can forgive our sins, but that one SIN is NOT OURS, so we need to be made whole, and we are made whole through baptism into Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ tells John to baptize Him in Matthew 3:15, "And Jesus answering said unto him, "SUFFER IT TO BE SO NOW; FOR THUS IT BECOMETH US TO FULFILL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS." As soon as Jesus Christ came out of the water straightway, GOD HIMSELF RECOGNIZED JESUS CHRIST AS HIS SON as noted in Matthew 3:17, "And lo a voice from heaven saying, "THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED." And as God recognized Jesus Christ as His Son IMMEDIATELY after His BAPTISM, He will also recognize YOU AS HIS SON OR DAUGHTER. BELIEVERS are BAPTIZED CHRISTIANS. May the Peace and Love of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST be with each and every one of you. AMEN. AMEN.

In this very moment, Christ's righteousness is imputed in your account, by His spirit you are baptized into Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, eternal life and all spiritual blessings are yours, you are a new creature, a member of the church, the Body of Christ, your Destination is heavenly places. Paul, our only apostle,did not say one single word in all his 13 epistles how to get your sins forgiven. Because salvation is to believe they already are. This is our ministry, Ambassadors for Christ, ministers of reconciliation. Share the good news that God has forgiven all the worlds sin and is not imputing them, today is the day of salvation! Salvation is an interesting topic. Although I'm fairly well-versed in the New Testament and the sermons of Jesus, I've often wondered what exactly pastors and theologians mean when they discuss the topic, but your description of the three types of death helped to clarify the issue.
