You pay taxes and follow road laws, right? Try not doing those things in the name of your freedom journey, see how well that goes down. Here in Australia we see voting as a civic duty. Nobody forces you to actually write anything down but only to show up at a polling booth and have your name crossed off, to show you are at least engaged in the process. The fine for not voting is only around $US10 but we almost all show up anyway.
