The First Trip - Overbuilt Jeep Gladiator AT Habitat Camper Install With Equipt Outfitters!

We take this built up gladiator out rock crawling in the mountains surrounding Salt Lake City right before we bring it in to Equipt Expedition Outfitters for the new AT Habitat to be installed! As they are installing the goose gear and getting everything bolted into place, we take the girls on some adventures while we wait! We take a detour out to Fifth Water Hot Springs that is a 2 mile hike each way to get to, I really thought it was only 1 mile each way so I was not prepared for that! But once we got there it was truly amazing and worth the extra effort! There's all different pools ranging in different temperatures that's actually natural in the mountains, so no facilities people! The next day we checked out Salt Lake and walked out to where the shore is now since the water level keeps getting lower, it was an amazing experience with our kids! Afterwards we drove to a resort that took over a hot spring and made it into some beautiful pools to actually be able to swim in; Allison and Hannah loved every second of it! Once Equipt had everything done, we headed over to get a walk through on how to properly use it. We had to be out of our campsite for our coach, so once the guys said we were good to go, we quickly made a drive down to Moab as it was only a few hours south! Our plan was to camp up in the mountains in the new AT Habitat with some amazing views! I really wanted to get a little video of it at the iconic spot at the end of the Top Of The World Trails but other things ended up happening and we needed to pivot and change plans. So that is still something we have planned to come back to Moab for and some other amazing spots we could have camped at but with how short of time we had, we couldn't camp at every single one! We were able to try out all the new accessories and cook out on our new stove! All the new overlanding gear worked out tremendously and still being able to rock crawl with all of it was even better! Our friends showed up from Arizona and we took them out to Onion Creek Trail and Rose Hill around to Top Of The World Trail, but their gladiator was not cooperating so unfortunately we didn't film any of that! We backtracked and found camp so we could drop their jeep off and get on a trailer and then head back out! We went out to GoldBar Spike Spider Trail and 7 Mile Rim Trail! There were so many sketchy downgrades and some awesome hill climbs that made it so fun with my new V8 Hemi Swap and making it more challenging with the extra top weight on the gladiator! We had such a blast but our time was very limited out here and we had to head back to Wisconsin! We love Utah so much for all the diverse options it has to offer and will continue to keep us coming back no matter how many times we've already visited!
