Looking for an opinion. In your podcast you spoke about your conversation with your ecclesiastical friend, and I really appreciated your comments. My question, would it not be correct in saying that we are of the same mind as our (Protestant) fiends, we believe that a man is saved by grace. No matter what he does or doesn’t do. Although exaltation requires effort (works) on our part.

Salvation and Exaltation are 2 very different stages in our eternal progression as taught by LDS theology. So yes we are saved and saved only by the loving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
