It seems Jesus gave the 1 penny to the 1 hour workers because anything less and their families would starve that day. It wasn't their fault they weren't picked so Jesus made sure their families ate that day. Praise God!

The corn. It had nothing to do primarily with the story! What Jesus was suggesting is the structure of the God image, The beginning and the end the first and the last.
