Yay! No one does this movie and it's so good. The novel is better, but I still love the movie so much.

Bette Midler is my absolute favorite!!! She’s fabulous! I love the scene at the cafe where the catch up with each other! It’s the perfect scene to get to know the characters and their friendship 💗

One of my favorite movies since childhood! I even got my college girlfriends pearl necklaces as graduation gifts (they weren’t quite as nice as the ones in the film, but it’s the thought, right?)

Thanks for the fun reaction to this film! Such an incredible cast! Huge Maggie Smith fan. If you’ve never seen her first Oscar winning role, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, I highly recommend it and hope you will maybe even react to it.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I was searching just a couple days ago to see if anyone had reacted to this great movie and didn't find any. I LOVED this when it came out, ,and every time I've seen it since. And a fun bit of trivia: The three "first wives" were born within 45 days of each other, and all three celebrated their 50th birthdays during filming. Just so fitting Thanks again, and I do love your take on things. Looking forward to more.

12:58 Even if she wasn't supposed to be counselling Gil over his commitment issues, the fact that she's counselling Annie over her self-esteem would mean that her having an affair with Gil would cause her to get fired.

If you liked this film.. I'd recommend the film "Book Club". Diane Keaton in a similar film about women much later in life discovering "Fifty Shades of Grey". I thought I would absolutely hate it but the cast is just so likable.. it's a worthy spiritual follow up.

All 3 women are awesome together...hoping they'll work together again someday. Some fun movies each has starred in: Wild Cats 1986 where Goldie is a high school football coach, Outrageous fortune 1987 is a good Bette Midler comedy..and Baby Boom 1987 where workaholic Diane Keaton is left a baby after a relative passes.

Fun fact about the guy who plays Aaron… he’s not only an a$$ in this movie, but he’s also an a$$ in another movie with Bette Midler called “Stella” (1990). Very emotional rollercoaster about a mother daughter relationship. But basically he hits on Bette Midlers character until she agrees to go on a date, and a few dates later she’s pregnant… so he’s really good at being an a$$hole

Kat--whether you do an official reaction to it or not, you should check out Cassie Jaye's documentary "The Red Pill", which explores the misandry that's resulted from the unchecked excesses of feminism.

Although the movie presents itself as a ''hear me roar'' feminist statement, its view of humanity - both male and female - is so sour and artificial that the women characters come off almost as badly as the men do.
