Superb stuff. A wee walk right enough. Thanks for showing us the kit list... I always always struggle with my backpack and would be curious as to how you pack your kit into it so you don't spend the entire walk battling with it (as I do most times... hard enough doing days on the hills never mind fighting with your pack). Fisherfield looks magnificent.
@PAADVENTURES16 ай бұрын
Thanks very much Andrew! what a fantastic place eh! magnificent indeed. Yeah I generally pack considering what I will use as I go and what I will only need at night. In my rucksack my tent goes into the base compartment with my first aid kit. In the main compartment I have a big rubble type bag which I stuff my sleeping bag, mat, pillow, tent clothes and spare clothes into. that gets tied up and kept dry.on top of that I have my cook kit and food. In my brain part of the rucksack is hats, gloves, buff and electrical ditty bag, all easily accessible through the day. In my elasticated pouch externally on the bag I put my waterproofs in and my hip pouches have snacks, compass, GPS AND personal locator. Water just fits in those annoying side pouches! Probably hard to visualise that but hope it gives some insight! Paul.
