The Fisherman, Fishing Planet, My Conclusion, To Buy Or Not To Buy

I had originally wanted to stick with fishing planet when I heard about this release, but seeing it on the steam summer sale for only $25 changed my mind. I'd rather spend twenty five bucks for the whole game and buy all my advanced lisences for credits than pay sixty every time I want to be able to fish at a location permanently.

I'm only level 32 on FP because I like to play other games as well, I hate the licensing system on FP especially the real day 24 hr timeout, so for me buying TF is a no brainer. I look forward to a much more relaxed style of fishing this game without the constant rush to only catch the most valuable fish and race against the clock all the time. Thank you to KP for pointing out all the facts to us.

Lol Ross Franklin lol 😂 I don’t struggle I’m on 65,56 so I don’t mind it costs nothing when u get to lakes and rivers higher up levels I have £9714893 in my bank at the end of the day we get our lakes for free you have to pay for new lakes fisherman is dead the competitions you can’t play not enough players I found fisherman to easy and become bored everyone to there own me I’ll never play fisherman again I wasted my money on fisherman all there money goes into fishing planet and you guys with fisherman they charged you for you’re new lake so dlc are already there lol 😂

KP love your videos have been following you for years. Kinda new to this KZbin chat but love your work keep up the great work. I am on fishing planet F2P level 50 and 30 above and your videos have really helped. I just purchased the fisherman and had it preordered and the bonus dlc never got it which is being looked into. I can honestly say that I have 5 million on the old version but the fisherman is worth it because the tutorial and little missions can put you at level 10 and the money is more and the speed is more and if you use barbless it’s really noticeable. I can honestly say I don’t think you need to remove your leveling guides because they really will work more effective with the fisherman. Look forward to your updated leveling guides. Definitely keep the Oregon with the purple narrow spoon. I have been using the wireless and am at level 21 in only a few hours. Keep up the good work.

ty for your guides on exploration vids on each lake, however i cannot participate in competitions anymore as the same 5 ppl always rank high even though i watched vids and practised for certain fish, it is demoralising. what does everybody think about the competitions statement?

As always, I agree with everything you said in your video. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos. I'm happy I can always go to your channel to get some more info about the game. Especially as FP & BigBen don't seem to care to answer our questions beforehand, like you already mentioned. As for the Fisherman, your video almost convinced me to buy it - as I don't have the time for the grinding / farming part either. I'm glad they got the economy right in this one! It's a pity the DLC system is the way it is now, as - like you said - it won't help much in the leveling process. Guess it's just for style now.. also, the BC repairs are understandable; but again a bottleneck for the new / leveling player. I guess farming unis for BC is gonna be the new grinding aspect of the game then. Maybe all in all, the Fisherman is a nice alternative for people that enjoy comps and tourneys the most, but don't have as much time for farming money in between.

same moment where you talked about the bug of weight of fish.. i got it on a Unique Bass.. it was 4.9kg and fought like a Halloween Fish with 24kg+ on a Rod which can handle till 9kg :/

KpShamino I don't undertand one simple thing!! the dev team should have change the sound tic-tic tic when the fish pull out line of the reel to a better sound and also make the spoon of the reel to spin while the fish is taking line, those things will make the game even more realistic but they didn't take into account these advices
