A couple of observations about the recommendations. It seems that the location of the test is soft snow conditions and the recommendations are geared towards younger Freeride skiers. In the New England region our customers love skiing Enforcers 88,94, 100, Volkl Mantras, Kendo 88 or Deacon 84, Blizzard Brahma 88, Bonafide 97 or Rustler 9. When I ski Alta, UT the Enforcer 100 or Rustler 9 or 10 are my favorite everyday drivers. My recommendation is consider the snow conditions that you will ski most often with the ski not the conditions you hope to ski on occasionally.

This is a great point Thomas! Our lists are not perfect for everyone. One of the tenets of Curated is that there isn't a single perfect ski but each person has a perfect ski for them based on what their needs are. That's why we avoid using terms like "Best 2021 Skis". I just bought the Kore 93, it's exactly what I was look for. Light weight charger on piest. It's only June but I'm stoked for winter! Going out to Breck this year can't wait! Thanks for your review it was a big factor in my decision to go with the Kore 93!

I guess we are all looking for that one light ski wheighting about 1500 grams where we can mount touring bindings on and also take on the groomers. Any thoughts on that?

@@jazzman_10 its got a bit of a turned up tip, easier to release edge, mount point decides if it can be skied switch good, and or landed switch, but on reccomended line its a very "regular" ski. hrzn tech in tips gives some float.

I just bought candide 2.0. More speed you get, more amazing they feel. You can go really fast confidently and they carve good feeling like a playful skis. They seem a bit heavy but they absolutelt rip.

Hey man I want to buy these as well, but are they also good for everyday skiing? are they also good for in between trees and off piste?

@@anxi3098 they are best when going fast on hard or groomed snow. You can take them offpiste but you have to lean back a quite bit so that they will not sink in snow and it starts to fatique legs after a day spent in softer snow. If you want something more offpiste capable, go with prodigy 3.0, armada arv 106 or candide 3.0. I'm actually looking for Prodigy 4.0 or armada arv 116 for softer snow.

@@multikeissi Thankyou! I won't be skiing in softer snow. It's more like the fun paths between trees on the sides of the pistes. That's why i want some more agile skies that turn easily and are very nimble

@@anxi3098 Thats what I also love doing here in Finland, and I think they work super well in that kind of skiing. They are only a bit hard to turn in steep, soft snow on low speed but super easy to turn when you add a litttle bit speed. :)

@@Curatedcom I understand your position on this, but you placed your orders for these ski models before or just after you did these reviews. In most of your content I keep seeing similar skis being pushed, even in this season. Now that could be that your testers all ski the same and find themselves liking the same skis or it could be something else.

@@therealtflyes2794 it's pretty common for the ski shops to demo the new releases and carry and sell what they like and consider to be a good ski for their customers. Why would they not carry what they like and recommend? A business won't last if they don't have happy customers and most successful businesses know how to make that happen.

There are a lot of recommendations for groomer skis here. Not really what my age demographic in Utah is looking for.
