Apple was extremely dependent on goodwill from China because most of the parts to their products were made there, and their ready made products left China in the boxes they were in when we bought them. Things changed during the pandemic because of delivery problems, and they moved the production to other low cost countries in Asia. I hope the Five Eyes countries kept a close eye(!) on Apple products. It would have been a piece of cake for China to plant Chinese Spyware in Apple products made in China, and those products sell like hotcakes practically all over the world!

But I am thinking of far more terrifying recent articles I read; the Chinese can now alter machines used in hospitals where you or I go, they can alter farm equipment, they have stations here, across America, and own large swaths of land; then there is Steve Bannon and Miles Guo, who is basically a double agent crook for the CCP, who stole a billions dollars or more in the hugest theft recorded; I am also thinking about what they could do to our grids, to our infrastructure. It's terrifying.
