The last time I did this quiz it was quality time. I'm curious if it's changed. One of my aunts who was a professor of nursing said that our bodies give us a certain amount of time to grieve with tears. If we don't release it tgat way, it will manifest in another way. And it may be a few years later. This was a great post. ❤

The most hurtful thing that was ever said to me after I lost a parent:”If you had really loved them you would’ve done more for them “

Next Saturday, the 7th is the first anniversary of my husband’s passing. His mom would call me at least twice a week up until she passed in August. That meant so much to me. I am having a rough time right now and last Saturday would have been our 45th anniversary. Today at Walmart I saw a man that could have been his doppelgänger and I almost lost it. I guess my love language would be just a call or text to let me know that they still think of me.

A gift. When my mother passed away. I was given the crucifix that was in my mother's casket. When my sister passed away it was the the yellow towl. When I go to see her there is her tarable towl by her head stone. When my sister Trish passed away it was her ashes in a nice vessel. The one that says if I can you any thing.. I nervously smile..then run like hell If stems from not feeling comfortable about asking for help

Not being a Debbie Downer here, but I never got this when I was grieving my grandma and my beloved cat Fiesta. I was brought up that asking is selfish. How do I get passed this? After 10 years plus of grandma passing I'm still grieving her through the holidays. After four years of loosing my cat I'm still grieving. Any advice would be wonderful.

I still grieve over a special cat and a special dog after over 13 years. I still am grieving over my parents, my in-laws and mostly loosing my husband of 44 year a year ago. Grief takes time, you think you are ok and then something triggers it. Today I saw my husband’s doppelgänger and I started crying.

Could it be psycho-somatic illness. Where not expressing grief, it turns inward and becomes a physical manifestation?? Weird, way to put it.
