ok..so i guess hebrews was saying that Jesus isn't above all angels as being God, but just as the highest ranked angel?lol--dan 10:13 say michale is one of the chief prince...isn't Jesus THE CHIEF? not one of??? The SDA church **never ever** used that Roman Catholic word "trinity" to describe the relationship between the Father and the Son. I hate using and hearing that word; because it comes from the black banner of Rome. The fact that they've now included it as #2 in their fundamental doctrines is proof that they have departed from God. The Trinity "is the central doctrine of Catholic faith. Upon it are based all the other teachings of the Church." Handbook For Today's Catholics, p 12.

TheSpydermunkee Because Jesus role during that time needed to be diffentiated between His role as High Priest after the order of Melchizadec now. The title and role go together. This demonstrates gospel order, which was the whole point of the sermon.

perfectly one does not mean they are one being. God is called HE not they, husband and wife is referred to as they. they do not connect if connected to attributes of a trinity. God is one being not one beings, thats not english.

jahdiel newman - The Hebrew word Elohim is a plural form of God. It does refer to THEY. “Let US make man in. OUR image”. God is plural - a divine trio or a triune Godhead. God could not BE love if divinity was singular. The triune Godhead is ONE - one in nature, character and purpose.

jahdiel newman - Jesus has always been with the Father, from everlasting to everlasting. Jesus laid aside His divinity to become a little lower than the angels (just we are described) when he became incarnated as a man, with a nature such as we have - one with the propensity to sin. One who HATES sin became sin for us. God paid our penalty. No one but God could pay the death penalty for breaking the divine law - which is the definition of sin. Jesus was Michael, the Arch Angel or Angel of the Lord before His incarnation of man. Angel MEANS messenger. The ARCH angel means the one who is commander over all of the angels (messengers). Jesus Christ created the angel beings, which are called Cherubim and Seraphim. Christ Jesus is the HIGHEST messenger of the Godhead. Christ Jesus is also OVER all prophets, who are also messengers of the Lord Jesus. Jesus raises them up and they give His messages to His people.

who is contending with the devil? through the bible Jesus is the one contending and gaining victory. lucifer being the highest cheribim in heaven cant be cast out by a mere angel but the chief of the anels or (arch-angel) Michael. it diffrenciates alot because it happened Jesus was His name, before He was incarnated as a human.
