So true about addiction being prevalent in the restaurant industry. I waited tables for 4 years & virtually everyone I worked with was either in active addiction or recovery. I was in active addiction when I worked there & have been in recovery for 3 & a half years. I'll have 4 years on 10/12.

I've worked in several restaurants. Not one person was fighting addiction. 🙄 Maybe it's your places of employment. Choose a better place so that you don't fall back into a habit you've worked hard to overcome.

Wow what a Podcast I truly enjoyed it Savannah you have some Amazing people on. I was in the Restaurant Business for 16yrs and I could relate too her.. It’s not a easy job but it’s so rewarding for the people you meet not just in serving but the ones you hire and get to know on a daily bases.. I’ve been the teacher, mom, sister, a Teacher of the Gospel.. Needless to say we wear many hats.. The owner that I worked for in the many Restaurants he owns it was a Franchise.. He was best friends with Billy Graham God Rest His Sweet Soul. The many things he shared was Amazing but the one thing was you love and respect people know matter who they are. That was how I was raised it made me think why would you have too tell someone that he said because not everyone is raised that way and I want my customers to know that when they come we value them and love and respect them as a person. Savannah I have to say I’m so proud of you for doing what your parents ask, I know it was a hard pill to sallow. But you’re doing awesome. Grayson and Chloe are in great hands....

Loved this episode. Try to ignore the haters as much as you can. There are more people in the world routing for your family than not. Trust that. I’m 68 years old and yes if you can work through cheating your marriage will be stronger than ever. We have been together 43 years. I loss my son in a car wreck buried him on his 40th birthday. Then your Family made me laugh during my darkest time. My cousin turned me on to watching your show. She died a little over a year ago. Savanna, I truly believe your family is being used by God. I hate what ya'll are going through, and I pray for all of you daily. I think ya'll will end up changing so many people's lives. I heard your story about race being brought into this... who cares who makes the change? It will benefit every race, especially minorities. God has touched your family. Just as your family has touched all of us. I pray your parents get pardoned by our next president. I hope our next president, releases non-violent criminals to serve their time at home. There are too many families separated by bars that are not necessary and it is effecting at least 2 generations of most of those families.
