I've had a similar issue with my 2014 535i, and my rear differential bushing is cracked, just like yours. I was experiencing intense vibrations at speeds of 70 mph and higher, causing the seats and the entire car to vibrate. One day, I had a flat tire and went to get it plugged, only to discover that the backside of the tire's wall was completely worn out. I installed a temporary tire at that point, and the car felt much better. A week later, I had four new tires installed and balanced, and now the car drives smoothly, despite the cracked rear differential bushing. So, I would recommend having your tires checked out.

Thank you. We are dealing with some vibration on the highway but haven't replaced any of the control arms, tie rods or bushings yet. I was thinking it might be an injector causing misfire but even with that I haven't had the time to log the car on the highway. This seems like a low cost simple place to begin. If it doesn't work then we can shift our focus elsewhere.

Usually the front control arms and wheel/tires or guibo cause the vibration

Im actually having a problem after downloading "Mikes easy BMW tools" from your "EASIEST INSTALL" video that i'm hoping you can help with & i actually asked about it a while back in comments of that video but i realize now that is from a few years back so i copied my questions to this more recent post (See below) & any help is very much appreciated? Hi Thanks for the great videos & for explaining most of what you are doing along with why it needs to be done that way... I have a few questions you may be able to answer... My car is a 98 328i convertable (E36 with the N52)... I did a engine swap from a 99 328is & at the same time did the auto to manual swap & I'm now having problems getting it fired? I'm not quite sure if its a problem with the ews not reading the right key code or ? but when I plug in a code reader it won't read anything (VIN, errors, or even id the car? Would I still use or be looking for the same file names as those you mention in this video or are they different names for my car & if so where can i get the info i need to bring my car back to life? I did the download to my windows 10 laptop but 2 things went different than your install in this video that was i didn't get the driver install option window (which i assume just meant that the drivers were zll good in my laptop) but the second is that I either didn't get the 5 files you say to copy from ? & paste/ replace in the ncsexper PFL file OR I just can't seem to find where they downloaded to in my computer to copy & paste them? Can you tell me where they would have downloaded to or where I can find them together to get them & finish the install right? Thanks for any help & keep the great content coming!

Possibly one of the front axles? Check for cracked / leaking shaft seal. I had 80+ mph vibration … replaced the right front axle on my E90 335xi at 70K miles. I suspect the hot exhaust from the turbos accelerated degradation of that shaft seal.

Tires worn? Had this issue with my e46 and turned out to be tire wear.
