I saw them at a small club in San Diego, CA. We were maybe fifteen feet away from Cy, and him and the band were at their brilliant best that night. The sound techs had it right for the room, and they just flat blew us away. They are great musicians, each of them. And Cy was powerful, just powerful in his performance. They were Super tight and just nailed every song. Even when I listen to them now, I listen at a higher volume. They're sound delivers a punch and has Crystal clear highs, and to me sounds better, louder. These guys were one of the best from the 80's. Beautifully written lyrics accompanied by great sound. I liked them before I saw them that night. And afterwards I was a huge fan.

band was way ahead of its time in the 80s...no other band (aside from maybe U2) had such depth to the songwriting and lyrics...

I love the sound of the music and their overall performance. Adam is a nice guy but the weak link of the band as the drummer. I wish they wouldn’t be so political and I don’t agree with them at all, but I can just enjoy the music for musics sake.

@@Jondsmusic everyone ive met shares principles in both the left and the right, defined as being centrist and leaning left on some things and right on others. the problem is at least in the us according to the law i read and who passes what that the ideologies arent followed, just expressed. im pretty left until you start stepping omn the bill of rights. and when you think of human rights, hoiw about treatment for those who suffer from at least SEVERE chronic pain. heard of the glittering generality known as the opioid crisis? ive been researching it since 2006. its all bullshit. even the UN knows the problem is illicit drugs, not licit ones.

@@pitchforkpeasant6219 my friend you just stepped into a major Pandora’s 📦 with this discussion. What I’ve been studying for years on the issue of sex trafficking and drugs would stun the crap out of you! Take a look at this list. @@Jondsmusic you like govt websites. me too. fbi and dea press releases my faves although i love digging deeper. doj pardons and commutations, congress.gov or govtrack.us etc.... long list. was going to become a police officer in florida and probably woulda tried the dea. i used to take meetings into treatment centers and homeless shelters and even did a jail meeting. florida is surrounded and packed with illegal drugs. most homeless speople i worked with didnt do drugs until after they became homeless, despair. dea has made a couple of busts with around 30 thousand counterfeit prescription pills containing fentanyl, that looked like oxycodone. according to the dea, oxycontin was the most counterfeited drugs. interesting to reasearch which president pardons whom and what they were found guilty of. that and the lack of attention to the dixie or greek mafia in florida
