This map is set in the city of Essen, Germany, several kilometers from the original factory drop zone shown in the previous mission. Der Flakturm is a massive, concrete structure, with several 128mm FlaK 40 anti-aircraft guns at the very top. It is not particularly large in terms of width, but is very tall. The tower itself is located within the bombed-out remains of a residential district.

This is my favorite too. Theres so much going on, so much to do and its just cool fighting inside a hudge flak tower. When you stop and think about it this is a very big level. And this was back in 2007!!!!

@@eatmybullets5489 man i loved this. I found a cheat though....instead of landing on the top and fighting your way through you could just sprint past most of them and run down the stairs! The nazis with mg42 however were a different matter...they were truly terrifying

I just played this level today and the MG Germans can be stun locked by shooting a burst of rounds and waiting for them to stumble back. Personally I use the MP-40 early game because there is a lot of Germans with it and late game I use the STG-44. For secondary have a rifle, I like the G-43 due to higher ammo capacity.

It's kinda crazy MoH went from polygonal 3D graphics in Frontline and Allied Assault to this game in only 5 years. Games progressed super quickly in the 2000s.

I know Call Of Duty employed historians and was fairly accurate. Come on MOH the idea of someone parachuting onto a flack tower is taking the piss.

actually the flak tower were real however they was not in essen they were in certain areas of berlin so american paratroopers never made a attack on them

Army: "Hey I'm not the one saying these things, I'm just saying what's typed on the screen. Someone is controlling my actions." Captain: "found him, it's a youtuber" Army: "Well what can we do?" Captain: "We can't. " Army: "FUCK! I didn't say that...or that, OR THAT? WHy the hell am i shouting?" Captain: "ok, I'm leaving before this gets any worse" Army: "WAIT! I shit myself...DAMN IT!" Captain: "Get some fucking help" *leaves*

history fact these towers actually existed they were located in areas of berlin but that saying this flak tower in essen didn't exist so american paratroopers from the 17th airborne didn't take a tower the paratroopers were in close city combat taking essen from the germans
