They are single pop large caliber tho, so u have 48 key presses instead of 30 in something with 60 double pop ones like the Mig29

I am not the type of player who's afraid to fly higher than 20m of the ground instead i choose to fly high about 4000m or more and notch incoming missiles i am the spear head of 99% of my matches i dont coward behind my teammates i dont fly to the left side like most players do!!!!

Nah I absolutely love this thing. I have no problems taking out f15s and all the top tier stuff. I don’t even notice the low countermeasures. I just pop 4 and I’m good. The maneuvers I have done in this thing makes me impossible to chase. Super fun vehicle. I also had money to spend so that’s why I got it and I don’t regret anything

They can’t even get the P-51D 44’, Bf-109K-4, or Fw 190 D-9 Dora 44’ correctly modeled despite there being a plethora of information on their engines, and flight envelopes… What a shock. It’s almost as if DCS is a video game under capitalism where its main objective is to get you to empty your wallets, and realism is on the back burner per usual. The F-18, Mirage, & F-16 are great modern examples of unrealistic behavior in DCS. Despite the declassified information on A variants. Pilots who actually flew them will tell you… WT is at least more obvious in showing you it’s a game via the fact their most popular mode is RB. Not Sim. DCS hides being being a “sim” in name & claim only. Nothing realistic about the velocities those aircraft reach & lose depending on the planes being cited as incorrect.

well same for Su22M3 , there are countless photos of the aircraft in real life in Syrian ownership with a bunch of flares/chaff attached. even the aircraft the one in game is based on....like literally the same aircraft. The Su-33 should have more too even in it's manual there is as such stated.

I'm against spending $60+ on any single vehicle in this game (you can buy an entire 3A game for that money or get a flight sim with multiple aircraft including the Su-33 for much less). That being said, if you have money to burn and are really hooked into War Thunder, and you really want to fly a Flanker but didn't progress through the Russian or Chinese air tree, sure. Hop into one of those squadron vehicle grinding squadrons, sit in there for a month and get yourself a nice discount for the Su-33. But if you're progressing down the Russian or Chinese tree, or you already have access to the Su-27, there's absolutely no point in getting it.

Lol, they added the su33 as as squad vehicle and now they buffed the 27sm. Now they add a hstvl premium and they buff the reload of both vehicles Classic Gaijin

But they've over BR'd the HSTVL AND RDF/LT as opposed to the BMD-4M and this BMD is a far more useful vehicle that can pen pretty much anything from the front as opposed to the HSTVL/RDF. Just MHO on having played all the vehicles. NGL I DO love the SU33 and I'm so glad to have picked it up. Having been a Crew Chief on F-15C's and A-10C's I have a special place in my heart for those, but I recognize the beauty of the Su27/33 fighters. It's got a great look and the grind is far nicer than my grind in ANY of the NATO aircraft I've got.

@@nico8273 Why would you say that? Both are light vehicles with anti-tank capabilities. Light armor and strong engines, with that they both should have good mobility but easily killed by return fire AP/sabot/HEAT warheads. The RDF has pretty shitty mobility as opposed to the BMD. Because of their VERY different BR's the RDF/HSTVL has a lot of trouble penning most vehicles they hit, especially from the front and the BMD (because of it's BR) has a pretty easy time doing the same especially when trying to pen MBT's in the front.

Hey Matt, I have a question The Su33s radar has 3 zones that it locks into, looking left, looking forward and looking right. Is there a way for me to make the radar look left than right, without needing to use my radar cursor to move the radar to look in that direction? Also how can I re-center the radar if I know someone is directly in front of me and I want the radar to look at them? Thank you so much

I’d suggest you to save your money and then buy a premium jet or premium account for a year. The Su-33 is a FTP jet after all, just play the game for a few months and you’ll get it for free

Im gonna be honest i dont see the point of playing it when you already have the regular Su-27. Su-33 has less counter measures, bleeds speed more and plays almost identical to the Su-27. The only noticeable advantage it gets is that it can carry more missiles.

@@lockheed_martin_F22__Raptorit does have superior thrust but it’s also much heavier so TWR is lower than that of the Su-27. And it’s way worse in terms of turning capabilities. Bleeds much more energy per AoA and have 1-2deg/s lower STR at any given speed speed.

idk why its blue on the other ones, the main reason its not in the SU33 is that it doesnt use the same engine as the su27SM and SU34, those are the FM1's and this is the normal F with some mods to have more static power to take off, in optimal conditions it even has like the same thrust as the normal su27

Because not everyone is a streamer with infinite golden eagles, and in a stock condition it is basically impossible to shoot down a player, so these bots are the only option for grind on a light fighter.
