Every reactor tells Iris to run...but I don't really get it. Either Savitar gets trapped, or he doesn't. If he doesn't, she won't be able to get anywhere without him getting to her in seconds. If he does get trapped, there's no reason to run.

I love the use of that song. Its like the lyrics are counting down to that one single moment when Iris dies. I mean second to last of the countdowns in lyrics are literally timed to Barry starting to scream realizing she is dead. Now, we all know they will somehow undo this because this, unlike Arrow, is now a misogynist trash of a show, but still her death was done perfectly here and handled with grace. Likewise the build up to that was PERFECT with the way team up of Barry and Captain Cold brought up and highlighted darker sides of Barry, showcasing the kind of emotions and doubts Savitar comes form and giving us a glimpse of the things that could come to the surface if Iris does die. Such a brilliant season so far. This episode is easily up there alongside my alltime favorite Flash episodes.

+Ahsim Nreiziev just becuase they named Tunaface that does not make her actual Dinah Drake. Especially when we already had "Dinah Lance" as Laurel's mother. Tunaface is Guggenheim's fanfic character he created when he realized that oops no you can't have Green Arrow without Black Canary in show and decided to not bring back Laurel because he despises everybody and STILL things that fridging a symbol of female empowerment for sake of manpain was a GOOD WRITING. Savitars armour probably protects him from the power dampening device in ARGUS so he woulda gone in there and killed everyone on his way and woulda taken Iris too, or cause chaos in the city with a time remnant and Killer Frost or whatever, honestly he was gonna get her either way. I had that thought, but the timeline doesn't work. HR is still on E1 to "tell" Savitar/Barry where Iris is. Sav then goes directly to E2 and kidnapping etc. happens within minutes, so there was no time that she wasn't with Sav after he took her, so no time for HR to sub himself out for her. But they'll probably find some loophole to make it happen.

One thing they could have done, at least temporarily, was have Lila take Iris to that ARGUS facility. No meta-humans have powers there so Savitar shouldn't be able to get to her. While she stays there, the team can continue working on defeating Savitar. Plus, that would certainly change the future since she wouldn't die that night.

I still wish they had saved Savitar for a later season. Maybe have DeVoe come in during Season 3 instead, saving Savitar for the penultimate season, with the final season being a 100% fully powered Eobard Thawne as opposed to a weakened one with fluctuating powers. It was obvious to me the whole season that Iris was going to live somehow; they wouldn't kill Barry Allen's primary love interest as early as Season 3. Maybe in, perhaps, a Season 5 or 6 I'd have taken the threat Savitar posed to Iris much more seriously. That being said, if you suspend your disbelief for the sake of the narrative, they did the build-up to this part extremely well. As much as they had a plan in place to counter Savitar, the fact that Savitar went ahead with his plan all the same rang alarms in our heads that something wasn't right, that he had a way out. The whole season built towards this one point of seeming inevitability, and it was played out perfectly.

Iris hasn't touched Barry's face yet. And let's be honest, if eveything is going as planned and future is truly set, that means season 4, 5 etc would have already been spoiled/shown since we've travelled to the future, seen star labs destroyed, cisco losing his hands, watching the team full apart and how it's affecting them all. Something will change and prevent Iris from being dead, otherwise the upcoming seasons would be ruined.

SPOILERS ALERT at the end of episode 23, iris will live and everyone will be there even Caitlin, Jay Garrick and Harisson Wells from earth 2. The only one missing will be HR because he died instead of Iris. And at the very end, Barry will have to go in the speedforce and leave everyone

A lot of people are thinking that it was H.R. disguised as Iris, but I personally want it to actually be her. It might be enough to get Barry to stop messing with time for selfish reasons without thinking of the consequences. Plus, I think it would be a great story over all.
