When I was a kid, I watched the Justice League DCAU cartoon, and Flash was my favourite. I also thought Green Lantern was pretty cool, and imagined how cool it would be if Flash had a Green Lantern ring. However, blue was my favourite colour, so I imagined the ring as blue instead of green, though otherwise functionally the same. Imagine my surprise, when years later, I learn that there actually is a Blue Lantern Corps, and the Flash (Barry, not Wally, but still) was a member.

Gunmasterx7 Superman is by himself stronger than Batman or Green Lantern. So him with a blue ring, which would give him a shield, would be stronger. And when fighting GL Batman, the blue ring can do everything a GL ring can do, Batman got a power up, but also powers up Superman.

Wrong. It wasn't exactly a retcon. In the Flash Rebirth, Eobard Thawne actually tells Barry that he (Barry) lived in a world with his parents growing old and that he (Eobard) changed that. As well as doing a bunch of other stuff to him over his life like pushing him down a flight of stairs when he was a kid (this was shown in the video, I just didn't see it yet). Barry didn't know because obviously Thawne was much faster than him back then. So, Barry's mother dying isn't so much of a retcon as it is a timeline change. Eobard Thawne in that comic book is the version that fought the Barry Allen that had perfectly alive parents.
