am sorry but more likely that the reason why barry never cameback after he disappear because he endgame with caitlin in different timeline were iris dies eveyone is alive and happy his parents even wally married and he accept this timeline slowly forget he need to go back to iris he stay with caitlin because she is soulmate and the real lovelife and if we see barry came back he findout iris move on with eddie that from different timeline and understand maybe him and iris never meant to be more then friends and caitlin was always the one season 7 snowbarry and no more candice
