Hiring a physicist wouldn't really help. It's a show about a guy running faster than the speed of sound. Real world physics don't apply and if they do then most real world physics relating to time etc is theoretical anyways and they can just dismiss it lol

The thing is they don't really need to explain it lol. I mean you could argue that Savitar should have never existed, however we do know that speedsters tend to defy paradoxies by simply being faster than the timeline trying to adjust itself. The thing with Savitar is he was essentially a grandfather paradox, he existed because Barry created him and Barry created him because of Iris's death and Iris died because of Savitar. However you could argue that once he was created then he always existed, and the loop needed to be severed. Although one time mistake they did was having Flashpoint change Diggles kids gender lol, no way in hell am i buying that one.
