OKAY! I'm probably wrong but let me take a shot at this theory thing. First event- Barry defeats Savitar and traps him in speed force, thus releasing Jay. Next event-speedforce comes to Barry via Nora and tells him he learned his lesson, he dealt with his mother's death and faced the consequences of flashpoint and stepped up to the plate like they wanted him to, basically telling him this new timeline post flashpoint was their way of testing him, last thing-what we see here is Barry going back to the timeline he's supposed to be in where caitlyn isn't killer frost, where dante is alive, where savitar didn't exist. (maybe savitar is barry allen but a speedforce version the speedforce used to teach him he can be his own worst enemy)

By the hairstyle, that's not HR but Harry from Earth 2. HR isn't there and I suspect it's him who actually dies and this funeral is for. Somehow that's got something to do with Iris coming back to life and Barry leaving his team with Mom, possibly to Speedforce. That means they actually figure out a way to reverse the situation but in doing that, they will need a sacrificial death of HR, which makes sense because I've thought that he is not really someone needed in the team.
