They have a line in season 4 I think where Barry’s like “I searched the whole city” and it took him like 2 min. what i love is that the show Superman and Lois solves most of these problems by having sometimes multiple physical conflicts in rapid succession, mostly with different people, all apprehended the scene they are introduced. There are noteable exceptions of course but unlike Flash they are the exceptions not the rule. And most of the time those exceptions are the primary or secondary antagonists of the season. And what's crazy is the showrunner behind that show is the same as behind this one

Seriously, you mean to tell me that after the first, say, 5 times where he gets bodied cause he wasn't ready, he wouldn't know to have his brain thinking at super-speed to react to anything? The point I'm making, is that because of how OP they made Barry _from the start,_ he cannot _have_ any challenge against regular people the way they tried without making him look absolutely stupid, which itself is inconsistent with his whole _being a CSI._ If the writers were more competent, they might've been able to make a work-around, but they weren't.

I prefer him actually standing and talking because it fits him as a character especially in comics (he loves talking + he actually wants to help those villains instead of just getting them to prison... )What if the villain had a bomb hidden away that will blow now because you relocated him instantly to prison or knocked him out? NOT talking to them actually creates more "possible plotholes" so im glad they did it like this and stayed in character. (Also assuming you CAN react to everything they do stopping and getting info out of them is even extra better) There was also scenes where barry took out the villain instantly that made actual sense. Im not saying writing is without issues but the person making those videos very exaggerated it to make funnier videos (which is fun i agree) (also before you gather around on that comment, keep in mind that i enjoyed his video and i agree to a lot of points i just say that his video was exaggerated)

Same principle as when The Flash is Speed reading, and in another ep he’s Speed thinking and Talking to another Speedster. You can apply that all aspects of your mind from calculation to reading up on a subject. As well as when The Arrow says to The Flash “case the perimeter” for you can have all exits and villains in check as well as possible contingencies in any plan. For your mind is Faster when you perceive the area of affect. Just like when he hacked the vault with captain cold and his father the amount of combinations. Same theory. You also train your brain to multi task. For infinite possibilities Speed can be mastered.

Realistically, flash enemies are supposed to be masters of deception and extremely brutal, they’re supposed to be crafty enough to make the flash run head first into a lose lose situation, they should use his cockiness against him. It would have been perfect: he deals with villains so easy he doesn’t even try to improve and then a real speedster comes and kicks his ass and damn near destroy central city and our hero goes into a crazy training arc in the speed force and comes close to death trying to get faster, make us get attached to a loveable character that eventually dies because of flash’s carelessness, they had so many options

they should've had flash be dash from the Incredibles level speedster and if they want want him to have his over powered moments like: (making speedsters slow, slowing time or even time travel) this should be the result of him going into the speedforce and soaking up the energy. this would allow him to fight and LOSE to street level villains whilst still making sense

I watched the first 4 seasons multiple times. I wish Grant Gustin (The Flash) would’ve gotten an actual movie with a good script because HE IS The Flash. It got weird after Season 4 but the first 4 were PEAK
