TOTALLY agree. It seems like Chris Fletcher has to defend and justify to Nell, the fact that he loves Lexi just as much as the kids they share. Which is CRAZY. I mean, I see how Lexi can be difficult, but at least SHE'S not doing stints in jail, all needing EXPENSIVE lawyers, like their son.......

Lol because they cuss in front of their kids. How can you consistently cuss in front of and towards your kids, then expect cussing not to be part of their normal vocabulary? It’s a learned behaviour.

@@arneliashort4647 respect isn’t the point about this. I’m not condoning this,- I would never dream about swearing like this in front of my parents, but that’s largely because my parents don’t swear (not that I’ve ever heard anyway), and they raised us not to do the same. They don’t even like it when I say ‘hell’ lol. The point is while I may not agree with it, it’s also completely understandable that the kids swear like that, because they are modelling the behaviour that has been taught. To expect your children not to do something you consistently perform in front of them is ridiculous, and borderline delusional.

It’s clear that’s it’s something way deeper with Lexi and her family. And it’s very sad to see so many people label her as the problem based off a 15 minute encounter. A lot of people don’t realize that when you’re the one benefiting from something it’s VERY hard to see the other side. Seems as if the other siblings had it better than Lexi. Even when Fletch walked up to the car he said when Lexi was younger he didn’t have it all together. It’s not hard to understand that maybe the other siblings experienced the healed/ “together” father. Instead of dismissing her feelings they may need therapy. Because she’s clearly not over what she experienced. The saying “being treated like the step child” is a thing for a reason. And from this clip, there’s two step children and one has been treated differently. It’s easy to be labeled as the problem when it’s 6 people against 1. I hope this family heals ❤️

Totally agree. Was VERY put off by the way Nel screamed at her to shut the hell up over nothing. Great way to stoke her sense of alienation. As Dr Phil would say, Lexi is the "squeaky wheel", the most obviously problematic one, but far from the only one with problematic behavior

That’s makes sense, however I have a sister & know of other ppl who behave just like Lexi, nothing happened to them more extreme than the next child, every child has their own experience but ppl like her & my sister who just at every turn try to make an issue to be the victim is a real thing. In that short clip it was clear she was delusional everything she said they disputed them she would try to find her next point to be mad about & then got frustrated when she could not solidify her half remembered version. Person after person topic to topic. Some ppl truly are just like this unprovoked

Lexie is an outside child and the only one that was not raised in the house. Being that she was not raised in the home she was likely the one to get looked over. Her dad admitted that he was not always there. Her feelings are her feelings and instead of knocking them down, they might want to step in her shoes. The car is just an example for her.

Normally in a family with multiple kids, it is always one child rhat is treated differently. She is bringing it up because it has never been addressed fully. Hopefully they can address and find full healing. It is never easy to admit wrongs in families. It is more than likely at this point wrongs on all ends. She is trauma from a certain point in life and others saying she just plays victim without acknowledging what actually happened. They could just said yes we got all other kids cars and didn't get you one until later because of this or that. It was never meant to make you feel less than the others. Let's go to counseling to correct it so we can be a family.

That's why I told you not to bring her or invite her. 😒There's a lot going on when it comes to the oldest daughter Lexi. She has a story, not just what we see here on a clip of a show... Her step-mom literally stated she won't get over it. What happened, what was done, 😕 that she needs to get over it ? Dad just admitted he was going through something that caused him to be out of her life or abandon her from her perspective. Ppl chose to listen and hear what they want to and side with whom they please, but they are not talking and speaking the truth about things pertaining to their oldest daughter. 😢 She clearly made valid points and when folks don't want to be held accountable for their short comings they avoid, cover it up, 🙄 pretend said person doesn't know what they are talking about, at this time I'm almost certain they have completely put it out of mind out of sight because the truth hurts especially when you actually deal with it, deflect from it, project it onto said person (Lexi), etc... Lexi has emotions on things that are not being validated 😢because those within her circle 🙄 want to make it seem like she is the problem. Yet they won't be quiet long enough for her to speak what has happened because they no longer want to deal with it. 😢 So Lexi has to retreat just to keep her sanity, may the Lord GOD above completely heal the void within Lexi's heart over the rude and abusive treatments she has received and endured in her past and clearly within the current present. There's 😢😮😮😮😮 clearly 🙄 something more going on here than they all are letting on. Her siblings all feel some type of way about her emotions, but again, no one stops to hear Lexi out before cutting her off to describe her horrible mannerisms. She has yet to tell her story that everyone bashes and insists it isn't true ??? Something is not reality here in this family, and it shows !!! 😕

Listen. When Nell said Lexi has "been in her life since 16 months" I KNEW what is was about. So, not only is Lexi not her daughter or the sibling's biological sister, but based on how Nell worded it, I dont believe Nell ever bonded with Lexi as a mother. Once Nell's kids were born, she kicked Lexi to the curb and never circled back. For the DAD to sit back and let his first born child be treated like this by the new wife and her kids is disappointing. Lexi needs to forgo wanting to be on TV to continue her path in staying away from her "family" and loving her dad from afar.

My step-mother pushed me upside my head and said I can't stand her, I don't see why he keeps bringing her around. Her best friend said, as she hugged me and ask if I was okay. Don't do that she's a child and if you love him you should love her that's his daughter and she was here before you. I told my grandma when I got home, and she said that, I didn't have to go back, and she would talk to them. My Dad continued to pick me up he just didn't take me around her. When I was 20 years old, I was Christmas shopping and ran into my step-mothers best friend. I vaguely remember her when she said my name, then when she smiled, I knew who she was. She asked do you remember that day. I smiled and said yes, thank you. My dad has passed away and my step-mother is alone now because anyone who loved my dad she always had bad blood with them. Now she tries to have a relationship with me and my five children, who she was always jealous of. It's hard for a child that lives outside the home of the other parent, you don't get or have the same relationship.

These comments did not pass the vibe check. Y’all are saying how Lexie was being “disrespectful” but Nell disrespected her 1st yelling and telling her to shut the hell. She didn’t talk to her own kids like that. She’s giving evil step mom. No one should feel like they’re being treated different from their siblings. If you do for one you need to do for all. Kids don’t ask to be here. My dad has 2 kids with my step mom. & we have a good relationship. But my relationship with my dad is not the best. As a child Before I would go to his house for Christmas he would always give me a disclaimer over the phone and tell me when I get my gifts it’s going to “look like” he’s doing more for my brother and sister when they open their gifts but it’s cuz he lives with them. & they went on a family vacation a couple years ago without inviting me. Some parents fail to see that they also make mistakes. Your daughter is hurt then just hear her. How she feels is how she feels dont tell anybody that their feelings are A Lie. It's not even that everybody else seems to be of the same, general accord. It is the way that Lexi speaks, self-aggrandizing, talking only about what other people get or got, and cutting other people off, that makes her seem not credible. To Chris Fletcher's point, at the table and at the car, Lexi's one claim is that she got treated differently because of the cars that everyone else got or now drives. If she has a larger point, then she needs to think through what specifically she wants to communicate, because not getting an expensive car gifted to you does not demonstrate being treated differently for your entire life.

People that hurt others always want to say, I thought "we" were past this!? The "Honest truth" is the person who has been hurt ain't past it! Stop requiring people to be ok with what you did or didn't do...allow them the chance to SEE a change in how you treat them. Because baby TALK IS CHEAP! A broken heart is real! Each individual person responds/processes the pain/hurt in their own way and deserve to heal slowly or immediately depending on the individual. Saying that they should be over it is such an insult to the person that is hurting. I see this same scenario playing out everyday because the guilty person/people want to let off the hook for they knowingly decided to do. You might need to admit guilt and accept the person is still hurting! And may never be ok with the hurt!
