This was a fascinating story, excellently told! It's very odd that the coroner accepted the circumstantial evidence of suicide rather than hold a full inquest, especially after so many years had passed. Your inclusion of the link to the Samaritans at the end was a very nice idea.

Yes, that's a good point! I can't imagine how devastated and probably frustrated his wife must've been at that conclusion from the coroner. Either way, it seems that the floating man had a rough end to his life but hopefully is now at peace!
