Completely agree, I play codm as a shooter/combat game. Don't see the need for the mini games such as the cooking game on the floating platform. But modes like night vision, mech only or no classes would be cool.

Now that Alcartaz seems to be gone forever from the weekend tournament mode, what would be next best thing to replace that? Maybe some kind of blitz mode type of thing could be decent option? I did like the alcatraz because most of the "fluff" was missing, no boring rides around the map to find fights, just guick gungrab and straight into action. Blitz mode has similar sized map, action all the way through the match and around 5-7 minute matches which is just perfect. That silly grounwars mode isn't good enough reason for me to unlock few mid camos.
