The Flora of Black Elk Peak

Welcome to the nearby Black Elk Peak! It marks as the highest elevation in the Black Hills of South Dakota! It has an elevation of approximately 7,200 feet above sea level. Some of the flora during the film is pointed out as a way of raising conservation awareness. Some of them included the Ponderosa Pines and the Golden Bean. It is neat to view how the flora can change based on the soil type and the elevation.
