the Fodera Monarch P Standard Classic

We're starting to deep dive into some gear that I use a lot! This one in particular is a special instrument to me that I had made for my tours with Brit Floyd, and also my session work. The Fodera Monarch P Standard Classic is a "popular options" instrument with little customization, but it plays just as well as any other Fodera you might have had your hands on. I particularly love the feel of this instrument and all of the wonderful, warm tones that I get out of it.
I should say openly: I am an artist for this company, although they did not ask me to make a video about this bass. These thoughts and opinions are all my own.

On all three settings it's great, but when the tone is up full, that tone is gorgeous. It sounds like there's a bit of grit on it, but that must be the setup and how you dig in. Stunning tone.

Sadly, not inspired by Scott Devine, although I feel like this is something I have been going for in my setups for years. I dig that (very) slightly gritty sound.
